Very decent sub, matches the vibe of the jam pretty well, everything eary and clear, verygj.
I believe this to be the most ambiental of the orchestral pieces I heard so far, really good sense of atmosphere.
I love the song progression and some keys caught me off guard each is always a pleasant experience :)
Mixing is pretty tight, but I think some texturing might be missing, instrument spacing is tight, but needs some more vibrance?
Amazing job! Take care :)
Very nice. Good dissonance, it's a nice texture.
It is well panned and clear, but I think the reverb could be more lush/interesting/colorful. I learned a huge lesson on this this jam - I actually had two reverbs on one bus.
I split them into two busses, each track being sent to a bus, and it made the best mix I've ever made - very clear, but also colorful, wet, lush compared to what I'd made before.
Great work! :)
Good stuff here! Very desolate! Feels cold and chilling! Great atmosphere you got! You did a great job here!
The picture this paints is so clear and desolate: i felt cold myself at a certain point. Although this is an ambience jam, I think you could've added some sparse melodic elements here and there to keep it more interesting without distracting the listener too much (i kind of expected to hear something like a flute embellishment in the distance or a celesta hitting a couple of notes). pretty good stuff nonetheless
Great submission overall. Love the approach you had, your sound design and unresolved chords really captures the helplessness and hostility of glacial environments. Your composition stays simple and light, creating a sense of oppressive loneliness.
The one drawback to me is the monotony, while the track is perfect for immersion it could sound a bit tiring hearing it for a long time. I think you could have developed the movement you introduced with the pizzicato bass, it brought momentum as well as frequency diversity.
Excited to hear more of you !
Just hearing the first chord I immediately knew I need to close my eyes and let your song drag me to that foreboding place.
Nice use of clustered chords and a very subtle texture to create the unsettling feeling. If that’s not ambiance then I don’t know what else.
Only thing I would have wished for, is to let the music show me the horrors that awaits. Let me see a glimpse into what you’ve teased us with so far. But I get that in this jam there’s only so much time for this.
Overall I have to admit, I’m quite intrigued with what you’ve done here. Bravo!
Very nice textures and use of space. Captures the artwork very well and presents a strong sense of mystical ambience. The end feels a little empty, compared to the rest of the whole track, but it's a fantastic submission
