Settlements are safe zones
Do not stay in the dark for long
Stay on the path
Staying in the light increase the players sanity
Low sanity will spawn the monster more frequently and eventually kill you

Controls feel good, but mechanics like restarts and progression require further refinement. You’ve got a strong concept to build from.
The best strat is to spam the clap. It makes the scene hella bright.
