I loved this. It was really unique. Had a bit of trouble clicking and dragging the clothes but I thought the clothes were really awesome. I want them in real life.

The audio was wonderful as well.  I wanted to suggest maybe making the UI text at the beginning more of a contrast to the background. Mostly because it took me longer than I care to admit to see it lol. I really think this is such a good start overall and I really hope you continue to work on it. I would love to check back in when you have more time to work on it, this is the kind of game I am obsessed with. I actually wanted to do a foraging game at some point too.

Interesting concept, the mixture of visuals was cool but I think the 3D sprites were way too big for the finding element. I think it could also have done a bit more on the collection or progression elements (like having shrooms unlock clothes or something to connect both aspects of the game).

The text in the menu was a bit hard to see, and most of the foraging seemed to be done entirely by accident (especially in the 3rd level). The shoes and socks never seemed to quite fit over the character sprite.

The eery atmosphere of the worlds with the sound effects was quite fascinating.

Thanks for the feedback! Yeah I agree, I would've loved to implement more complex gameplay but unfortunately this was my limit in terms of programming knowledge. And yes the accidental foraging is something I need to fix because the draggable items that hide the mushrooms also trigger the 'found item' page which shouldn't be happening

I liked picking a nice practical mushrooming outfit. The visuals of the mushrooming areas were fun and surprising.

Thank u!

The mixmedia visuals are a nice change after seeing so many digital art. The mushroom hiding game was creative. =D

Super innovative ! While playing the dress up mini game, I felt like it was lagging but it's probably a Renpy problem :'( I found that mixing illustrations and photos was really interesting and didn't look like something we see all the time ! Well done ! ✨

Developer

Thanks! Yeah its a Renpy problem unfortunately, I just gotta learn a different engine tbh.

Neat concept, but it was hard to see the text.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! I realized that after I finished making everything.

Short and sweet! I think this was a very creative use of photo collage- I didn't expect the abstract landscapes when I saw the mushroom picking theme, but they worked wonderfully and were fun to interact with.

I do wish the doll dress-up portion was more closely integrated with the mushroom picking phase somehow? Maybe there could have been some reference to choosing clothes that are well-suited to traversing the fantastical environments where you find the mushrooms. But I also totally understand the time limitations of the jam being restrictive there, so that's more of an idea I'm tossing out there if you plan to continue development~

Thank you! Yeah i totally agree, I wanted to somehow incorporate the outfit you choose into the actual foraging part but unfortunately my programming skills are incredibly novice so I didn't know how to haha. thank you for the feedback!
