It was a bit odd trying to rate this game on a fun scale because I really see it as more of a work of art. For me, the fun was in observing the interesting design choices made by the creator and thinking about what they communicate. I found the experience compelling in the same way that I might connect to a poem. Saving this one for later to give it more thought <3

Super powerful concept.

There were a few hitbox issues (mainly in the room when arranging furniture), as well as that the furnitures not quite fit the room on a design/decoration aspect, the last is probably intentional as we can never quite buy a happy ending while only selling the bad stuff, but I digress. The shadow cage is also super inspired. I think you could probably overpass the SFX as it didn't always fit the vibe and potentially add an audio slider.

The constant moving camera was an interesting design choice, but also feel a bit nauseating at times (potentially a toggle option?)

Very spooky and great atmosphere. Super unsettling. Interesting playthrough overall.

Replayed for a no-selling, just soul playthrough haha

Interesting concept!

I wish the furniture was better angled for the room it was in (or vice versa) - but loved the y2k aesthetic of all the pieces.

This taught me that even negative thoughts have value. The only question was, where could I find a store that would buy them? XD

I like the spooky, unsettling atmosphere of the game.

Intriguing and unsettling vibe! Wish there was a little more room on screen to position the furniture. Loved the memory sprites.

Loved the vibe. Early 2000s, pink and spooky! โค

super interesting n haunted vibe in this! its very aesthetically cursed n kawaii,,, the floating of the room is unsettling n i adore the outside reality w the soundscape contrast too~~~ the writing was so nice n from the comments here now i get they're from sylvia plath - rlly sets up a specific mood! trying to arrange the items was a bit frustrating sometimes as the click didn't always register where i thought ;;; i'd luv 2 have more decoration options / upgrades 4 furniture and b able to mirror / change the angle of items, but it was fun to collect all the ones in the shop =^.^= wuld b cool to explore a whole house of this w more hints of an overarching story in the mystery ;w;

Art! Traded soul for lava lamp, 10/10

The vibe is great. I like the handheld-camera feel you achieved with the motion between the background and foreground trees. The subversion of the room decorator trope really worked for me.

I got a little too addicted to collecting the memory wisps and appreciating the Sylvia Plath quotes. Are they all from The Bell Jar? I feel like I'm due for a reread, now.

most of them are from the bell jar, yes! I'm also due for a reread soon,,

I didn't know so many wisps could even fit in the room lmao, incredible work and thanks for playing! ^-^

A simple but super atmospheric game, almost bordering on horror. Everything about this game is off in the perfect way, it really hits that liminal space feel. Seeing the shadow of the cage fill up as you sell off more off memories I genius, and keeping the person your selling these memories to a shadow in the background adds a mystery element to the whole thing. The only complaint I have is that the hitboxes are a little wonky.

thank you so much!! was pretty much what I was going for so I'm glad it translated well :3
