I like how the mechanics are progressively taught to player. I got stuck in the spiral level due the kiddos running away from me and eventually blocking my path. Maybe I could've gotten through the level if I had the patience, but alas. Solid work on the execution and presentation.
HO-HO-HO!
The pixel art and sound were cute, and I had a lot of fun playing.
The game design is very player-friendly, which made it even more enjoyable.
Fun puzzle game! I loved the pixel art visuals and the way the mechanics were explained to you through the levels
Very cute art and I love that the gameplay instructions are conveyed through sprites! I'm not sure if this is a bug but sometimes the children can see the present Santa Claus drops through walls, and will walk through the wall to get to the present. Regardless, I enjoyed the game a lot!
I loved the art style, the idea was really clever. The tutorial was a perfect example of "show, don't tell," and I instinctively got all of the concepts. I didn't like the random movement of the children, however, as it made the levels longer and harder to beat. If that was removed, I would've had much more fun playing it. Great game though, you could definitely distribute this.
I loved the art style and concept! Some levels could use a bit more balancing, since sometimes the child would spawn right near where I started and catch me right away, or they’d be waiting right at the hallway entrance. That said, it’s a really creative game and I loved the sound effects (ho ho ho hmmm 😆). You also did a great job of slowly introducing the mechanics as the game went on. Overall, an awesome entry and very on theme, well done!
This was really well done! It reminded me of this Grinch game I played as a kid on my gameboy. Very nostalgic!
