Cool concept, and very gory haha. Not sure if this is a glitch, but I could re-guess previous letters I had already guessed, and it would count towards the next word but not to my penalties. I also struggled to get past 1 word correctly guessed. There's definitely some potential to have with this, it is an interesting game and I love the idea. Good job :)
The art style was cool and the game was very hard, never got past the second level. How come you can add extra words onto the list for the first round but not after that? Would've been nice to try for multiple words in round 2 as well since you're gonna need at least 2-3 words to get enough points anyways.

Right now you can only add a new word IF you have less than 5 words, you have completed all the previous words (this one goes automatically) or you have zero letters in the letter bank.
Huh, cause at the start of a new round after getting the upgrade card I'm pretty sure that meant I had only 1 word, had completed all previous words, and there were zero letters in the letter bank, but I couldn't add a new word to be able to start myself off being able to guess like 3. Not sure there's ever a time when you wouldn't want to go for at least like 3 words at once since there's a much higher chance of you not missing a letter.
yeah, so its a bug. sorry, couldn't look into it in time.
the thing about adding more words is that, even if you get the amount of points you need, if you can't get all of the words, you can't progress, so that was the "risk" idea behind it. maybe didn't came through very well.

Oh I see, I'm not sure the risk of that in particular came through. I figured the risk of the game was just the same as normal hangman. It's so much more risky to go for one word at a time than 3+ at once since with less letters to guess its easier to make wrong guesses. If you wanted to guess say all the vowels first, and your words were steam and bounce, then guessing them together you'd only have one wrong guess (no i in either) while guessing them separately you'd have 4 wrong guesses (no i/o/u in steam, no i in bounce or steam). I hope you're able to fix the bugs and maybe be able to turn this into a real good game!
Love the art style and concept! But I found a glitch where when you get a word right another word pops up below it and the chopping mechanic stops! However if you get more than five letters wrong on the second word the entire loop stops!

I like the music, and I love the art style. I think it has a very nice "warm" feel to it. In terms of gameplay I felt a bit lost, I added a bunch of words to guess and I guessed all of them, what happens next?
sorry you felt a bit lost! maybe we could've explained it better in game, but the time was short.
you're supposed to hit the target amount of points to pass the round, then you can choose a power up to help you get more points and change up your playstyle a bit
after 10 rounds, you win.
