Ranked from 16 ratings. Score is adjusted from raw score by the median number of ratings per game in the jam.

How does the game fit the theme?
The goal is to get first to the biscuit jar on the top shelf.
Two players have to compete for it. When you are in first, the camera is setup in a way to make it more difficult for you, so being first is more risky but is the only way to win and eat all the biscuits.

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
Sounds are from various sound effect sites without copyright.
Music is also downloaded and is credited at the bottom of the games page.
Font is "shanghai" from 1001freefonts.com

Everything else is made from scratch.

Very fun! Engaging too!

Would love to see the camera zooms out, when i was playing with my partner I kinda have to "wait" for her to catch up haha.

Unfortunately I was playing solo, but creating a 2-player game was super cool! I can imaging this getting pretty competitive. I do wish there was some sort of score mechanic other than lives to really egg on that competition, maybe a score counter per player? Anyway, the music was nice and the art was pretty. Nice job!

Love the two player feature, feel like you don't see it often. The overall design is very well put together and the animations for each of the actions/movements is quite good. Noticed that the music cuts out at some point and doesnt loop back, other than that, awesome!

Unfortunately I didn't have someone to play it with, but played it by myself and can see how this could be a fun co-op expierence! And nice art :)

Nice, a fun game. Good graphics and bg music. With more levels and added difficulty IMO would be a decent casual game. Congrats!

The concept made me laugh, it's quite unique and lovely. I battled with my left hand, but this opponent is too easy to defeat :(

I have not seen anyone make a multiplayer game for a jam, it is a great game.

Developer

Yeah, I get why most people wouldn't go for it, since you shrink your potential players to a small fraction, but one has to stand out in some way, and it offers a lot of unintended gameplay which often makes it more fun

This is surprisingly good!

This is my first gamejam. It would be cool if you rated and commented. :D /jam/brackeys-14/rate/3851809

Eyy nice job! Was fun to play with friend after the jam. Only thing that the spin animation got stuck at end so you couldnt immediately jump after it. Great job.

Developer

Thank you :D. Though the "stuck" animation is intended and spoken about in the tutorial, it makes you "sick" as a replacement for a cooldown. It also allows you to spam it as much as you want at the cost of mobility.

Ahh I see. I do have the tendency to not read all the stuff, my bad xd.

Developer

No problem, that is what playtesting is for, and why no game is perfect. A more interactive tutorial would probably solve the issue. Maybe sometime in the future.

The artwork was very cute, however i didn’t really get the gameplay. Great work though

Developer

Yeah, some gameplay elements were not finnished in time, we decided to at least polish what is done rather than to add more unfinished stuff.

Thank you for your rating.
