How does the game fit the theme?
The player has to make use of tarot cards that have benefits but also drawbacks, and the risk comes from making the most of the tarot card system while keeping the negative aspects in mind.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
All of the assets were made from scratch, although some of the art assets were made earlier in the year for an unfinished project.

Great, Great! Game! Love it all, the images, audio, level design .. I like that one doesn't fall to one's death but to a ground level so that the game continues and is not constantly restarted providing a better player experience. The gameplay is excellent. I enjoyed playing. I like the jumping, the devils with the pitchfork. the cool mirror save points. Really gives a good player experience. A nice gem :D Great work!

Very well made! Cool concept and cool gameplay. My only problem was that most tarot cards weren't really worth taking, so i was just skipping as many as possible. Other than that it was fun, and the audio and graphics are really well made!

I enjoyed this game quite a bit! The tarot system was what sold the game for me, it really made me think about what choices I was making and whether I would be able to adapt to the "bane" of each card. The style of the game overall is really neat too, with the cute 8-bit graphics and the complimentary music. Good job!

This is a really cool game! It gives me hollow knight and downwell vibes. Very nicely polished too, loved the visuals and the card system was a nice addition to spice up the platformer. The movement is also very smooth and responsive so well done!

This is the best one iv revied so far. The art is clear and easy to parse. The cards are interesting and generally it feels good to play. Also the sfx and music rock. Really good game for a jam game
