How does the game fit the theme?
Biscuits are used as a currency and are occasionally appearing as textures

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
player movement, player attack and the damage system were build atop of a base made by myself.
Also used previously made art assets including my own and the Pixel Crawler asset pack by Anokolisa

It's a good game idea, but the screen size was really weird and it didn't feel like there were any stakes.

I like the overall idea of the game and gameplay loop. Collecting biscuits and upgrading weapons and a easy game to pick up and understand and I had fun playing it. I also like the art assets used in the game. This is a great submission for a solo game dev. One issue I had was that the screen on the web felt like it did not correctly fit the screen size which is an issue you can fix when your exporting your game from godot

I've gotten to about 120 biscuits, I bought all I could in the store as well. I don't think the upgrades are working? I might be clicking in the wrong places.
The enemies attacking at the same interval is pretty cool, creates a certain rythm to it all where you can then fling yourself in between them and kill a bunch before getting out again.
