Amazing pixel art! Good mechanics but I was a bit confused with the mechanicsat the start. A tutorial at the start might help iron out the confusion (assigning stats, attacks, etc.)

Very nice pixel art!

It took me a while to figure out how to play as I completely missed the 'weapons' button my first couple rounds haha. Also unless I'm misunderstanding buying a weapon seemed to take more chips than it said it would, meaning my balance went negative. I also ran into a couple UI scaling issues, but going in and out of fullscreen seemed to fix it.

I felt that the game-feel was a little lacking and I had a hard time understanding what was going on in the first few minutes, but it was pretty good. I do really appreciate the sprite work!

Cool game! I really liked the art. The background music is also cool, relaxing. I would appreciate if you play my game too 🐸

the game art is great! would have loved to play on the background where the cut scene was (the casino). overall loved playing, but I couldn't the risk part?? like im not really sure where the risk it part comes in

Thanks for playing!

The original idea was for the game’s setting to be a casino, as you suggested, but we ran out of time.

The 'risk it' part was meant to revolve around upgrading your character and weapons, and using your chips to place bets and shop. Since we didn’t have time to balance it, the 'risk it' aspect doesn’t really stand out, as you almost always end up with too many chips.

I'm not sure if I understood the game correctly or what.  But it seemed like your statistics don't really affect anything, and at least upgrading your attack speed doesn't seem to register. But it does eat your chips as payment. I also tried buying weapons but the game only took the chip amount set, not the amount of weapons set as I was expecting.

Alas, my experience was just playing tag with the enemies.

I would've also sped up the intro cutscene. When playing and rating jam games you do want to get into the action fairly quick.

Graphically the game looked nice.

Good work.

First of all, thanks for your comment. We've been very short on time this Jam, and time has run out, so there's a lot of room for improvement. We weren't aware of the attack speed bug, so thanks for pointing it out. As soon as the Jam is over and we're able to modify the game, we'll fix all the bugs we find and add new things we didn't have time to add before the deadline. We'll also keep the opening cinematic in mind. Thank you very much.

Nice pixel art!
Ui is getting bugged after picking 3 weapon.

Developer

Thanks!
We're aware of this bug and will fix it when we can, but due to time constraints, we were unable to address it before the deadline.

Awesome game!  The controls are responsive, and easy to understand mechanics, I appreciate  the  survival and upgrades per  round. The graphics are the best, nice fluid animation and expressive characters. The gameplay is appropriate for the theme. Congratulations! keep it up!

Thank you for the kind comment :)
We are planning to add many more things that were left in the pipeline due to lack of time.
