How does the game fit the theme?
a visual novel about a kid who risks everything they have for a TOTALLY not sentient cat plush named biscuit

Cute visuals! I do wish the story could have branched out more and been less linear but I liked it anyways and thought the premise was funny. I also enjoyed the escalation of the sacrifices for Biscuit, but it would have been more impressive if the choices had more significance. Branching stories are hard, though, so I don't blame you for it. Solid work!
Enjoyment: Super cute and funny! The premise and choices were silly and beautiful
Gameplay: Just alright for a visual novel. Although laggy as a web game.
Innovation: Not really anything special. Again, the typical mechanics of a short visual novel.
Theme: Straightforward, but funny. I love the idea of a 7 year old digging for cash all for a plush he found on a random day.
Visuals: Not the most technically impressive, but it fits the premise - silly and simple.
Audio: Appropriate for the premise, but nothing too special or innovative.
Great visuals and sound but it lacks in gameplay. It's more "click through a story" then actually playing. It also felt very railroaded. If I choose the "wrong" choice I just got told to do the other thing or that I couldn't do that (talk to the musician for example).
Good story though and I liked that the options became more and more the same. Initially I thought it was a bug until I realized this was on purpose.
the game's sick!!! it feels a little uneasy to play and i'm in for it!
A slow paced game, finally! It's the first game of the jam that made me pause and read that much text. The story is great! Congrats!
THIS IS AMAZING!!! Loved every second of it!
Great story! The art's cool too. One thing I thought was kinda funny was how you're given the option to explore three different places, then it just kinda forces you to the park. Good job!
One more thing, I was not expecting the ending at all.
Nice story and art! This was a cool take on the theme.
Adorable funny little story
anything for biscuit! very cute game :3
