This is some really cool sound design! I’m impressed by the quality! I used to play the Super Monkey Ball games as a kid and this sounds reminiscent of some of the best worlds from those games. Thanks for sharing!
Cool entry! It does feel very alien and chaotic but in a good way, as in it really gives the vibe of a futuristic urban setting.
yeah i was originally gonna call it space city but then i re read the prompt and realized it specified town, (this is also why i drew the fish character in front of a modern looking shop)
it could still be a big town tho so it still counts in my opinion, great art btw!

Now this is a fresh take on Star Town! It creates a distinct atmosphere that definitely fits the aesthetic you set in your cover art. (I know the art isn't what we're judging on, but the fishbowl space helmet is an amazing way to combine the star theme with fish team, and I love it.)

thank you, i had that tape stop effect on every 1st and 4th beat in the bar. i think that's what u meant right? i thought it would be cool to make it sound like its sampled even tho i didn't actually render it out and chop it.
now this is a style of music I don’t think I could ever create. It is so alien to me and it sounds alien which is very fitting.

The intro is very creative and brilliant with its glitch effects.
As someone who always composes in a very melodic way, I'm impressed by this kind of composition, which is more based on feeling and atmosphere. It's really great and well done.
The one small technical detail I would mention is the sound in the midrange at 1:05, which has a very short reverb and sounds confined. It made me lose the sense of space and stars.
But that's just a minor detail because the whole thing works very well.

i checked it out and its on the effects on the weird kick i used, cuz i modulated the grain size and flux on simpler and it changed the pitch of it and made it mid range and i know the low mids is what ppl blame for stuff sounding "muddy" which of course is not what i want for this theme, thank you for pointing that out
