How does the game fit the theme?
You must take a risk by diving deeper into the mines to collect chocolate chips for the wizard's cookies/biscuits. The deeper you go the more choc chips you can collect, but the longer it will take you to get back to the surface. If you take too long you will run out of time and the wizard will turn you into a frog!
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?

Beautiful game, plays well, sounds are great. Only bad thing i could say is that on my first run, the level generated in such a way, that I couldn't get back to the wizard lol. Great job!
I loved the movement and the overall presentation is great as well. The sleep and next "cookie order" seemed kind of random. Didn't hurt my playthrough that much but what did become an issue was the lack of resources around half way. Perhaps, if the timer gave some leeway depending of the progress, it could've be more in balance.
Great job regardless, very enjoyable!
This is a great game! The mechanics are intuitive and the art design is cute. I like the randomization of the map. My one critique is that on some runs, there don't seem to be enough readily available chips to make the first few batches of cookies in time. But when this didn't happen, the gameplay loop really had me hooked! Awesome job!
This game was awesome!! Loved everything about it. 10/10
10/10. This game brings something that never fails: mining. LOVED! This game is simple, but perfect! If minecraft had cookie ore, this would be it!
Love it! Like others have said the controls are so smooth it's great jumping around and climbing back up. I also agree with another comment that said having a keyboard key for digging would also be nice like using the arrows to choose how you wanna dig. Anyhow, overall this is a wonderful game and a great entry to the jam! Congrats on making such a lovely game in such a short amount of time!
You have some really cool graphics! I kept playing the game a lot because of this sense of a solid game, both on design and visuals. I missed some background music. It's the only thing I can say in detract of the game. It's wonderful, fun, pretty, satisfying, challenging and fits the theme really well. Congratz, and keep it up!
Wow, I've played a lot of floaty platformers as part of this Jam, this isn't one of them. The controls were crisp and enjoyable. Proud that I actually beat it on my first try, the uh "time economy" seems well balanced.
And the protag' is the cutest thing ever, especially his bouncy animations.
Everything about this screams professionalism, its so well polished, this is clearly not your first rodeo.
Great game, I got really hooked into it! Everything is just clean! Pushing to give some feedback, I think being able to hold a button down to pan the camera out a bit would make scoping out a pit to jump into feel a bit more like an informed decision. Also, having the wizard's demands be greater with time to match is something that would make it feel better to dive very deep in the level.
I died to jumping extra deep on the last request thinking i'd have more time and not fall 200 blocks. Which is epic, but that was just my experience!
This is such a charming and well-made game! The core loop of diving for chocolate chips and rushing back to bake cookies is super addictive and fun. The pixel art is fantastic, too. Really great job!
Wooo! This is really good, I love it! It makes me think of Dome Keeper but revisited. With little extra work it could be a serious competitor to it. Great job!
Got the evil wizard to pop. Do have to say that the game-loop changed drastically after i got to a third of the wizards hunger bar. I ended up having so many mined chips that for the remaining 2/3 of the hunger, i could just stay above and sit next to the machine.
I wanted to go back to mine, but most chips were too deep for it to be even viable (why would I if I knew I had enough to win).
Really liked the visuals and audio.
great art style. great gameplay well made. this need to develpo further for full game. similar to dome keeper. i first thought to make a game similar to like this
This was a great idea for the theme and very well executed
