Never played the original, but this was pretty fun!

the only thing i didn't enjoy about this was how fast it ended. perfect take on vvvv

Flipping the lil guy felt very satisfying and the level was well constructed. I ran it a couple of times just to see if I can do it faster. :)

Developer(+1)

I'll add speed run timer as next iteration :p

It was pretty fun to play ! I love platformers that have interesting mechanics like this, it offers a lot of possibilities for level design (although level design is always very hard to do). The tetris themed background looked cool, and the concept was well executed for the time you had.

Developer

I wanted to get moving platforms and stuff in too but just ran out of spoons for it!

Well done for pumping this out in the time you did great work.

Love it!
being the backup and the time constraint this is super impressive
i like the goobers little sounds >.< super cute!

I know this was your backup game, but it still felt pretty tight and polished to me. Easy to see you've been doing this for a while! I enjoyed it, small as it was.

Cute little version of VVVVVV! Controls were nice and tight and all the assets went together really well.

Thankyou!

I love a good puzzle platformer where you have to mess around with gravity. And the player sprite is adorable! Great job! It might be a bit short but what's here is really fun!

Developer

Full credits for all the art are included I can't take any credit for that one :D

This one was fun! Definitely saw what was cooking here. The little message to the player at the end was adorable. Love the little guy as well as the punny name! Brilliant.

Developer(+1)

I decided for once to focus on polishing what was there and having a fully feeling single level then trying to push for a second level with more mechanics that felt "unfinished" as a whole experience!

Oh my gawd! You set the game’s master, sfx, and music volumes to at or below 50% as the game’s starting defaults?! Gold Star! Good feel. Good music and sound effects. For the length of game, I thought the level(s?) were cool. Overall: very VVVVVV.

Developer

It was mostly because I was getting my ears blown out as I was testing it :D
