I had no luck and died as fast as it is possible. This was a bad day.

Developer(+1)

Ouufff, some runs do be like that.

Amazing game, the dog told me the gun is full of bullets and I didn't believe him. Shot myself in the face 10/10

Developer(+1)

Hahaha I KNEW it was only a matter of time before somebody tried!

Had me in suspense the whole time... then I had 10 helmets stacked and not a care in the world!

Developer

Holyyy 10 helmets? I did get 4 at most in a run myself. I guess I'm never as lucky with the shops. I had already nerfed the helmets once, I should have nerfed the helmets again. 🔨

Macabre and fun! 10/10

Developer

Thank you very muuuch! ✨

Awesome game. At first, I thought it would be regular Russian roulette, but spending the biscuits on items that can make you survive longer to push your luck further and further was a fun loop. Truly great job on the theme

Developer

Thank you so much! ❤️

Developer

Btw, I followed you back! I read your about-section. I'm don't have a dev background, but I find what you describe very relatable. Rediscovering the reasons we do what we do - I'm feeling the same thing. I think you put it into words really well ✨

Risk it for the biscuit, nice idea game !!

Developer

Big thanksies! ✨

Game actually jumped scared me the first time a bullet went off. Should penalize betting more since I always do it at the start of a round making resetting the round not much of a penalty.

Developer

Thank you for the feedback!

100% agree. I was aware of the bet exploits before submitting, but I didn't have time to fix it :c

Played it before the voting started and forgot to write a review!
It's a funny little game, and I enjoyed it. The voice is cute

Developer

Thank youu! Glad not everyone found the voice as grating as I did towards the end. 😂😅

Great game, risking to shoot myself over some biscuits is a great concept for the theme. I had a lot of fun playing!

Developer

Thank youu! Glad you liked it!!

I like the idea of this game, FOR THE BISCUITS!!!

Developer

Some people live for that next biscuit high... 🍪

Submitted(+1)

really risked it this time

Developer(+1)

You'd do all that just for dog biscuits?

Submitted(+1)

This is a hilariously direct take on the them haha. Also a really cool idea and clever game loop. There are a few exploits to consider though, in the first betting tutorial round where there are 6 bullets, you can just endlessly bet for free biscuits, also I think on subsequent rounds, if you correctly guess with a bet, you can just cycle round and bet on that chamber again. Maybe it would make sense for a correct bet to win more biscuits but end the round? Or at least the round should end once you've cycled through a complete chamber. Really fun idea though, I'd love to see if you extend this idea further.

Developer

Hi! Thank you!

Greatly appreciate the feedback. We discussed the game design a buuuuunch, and we identified a lot of the same problems you mention. However we didn't have a playable version until saturday night, so we didn't really have time to consider many options. If we had more time, we'd absolutely patch out the betting and tutorial exploits.

the game is very laggy when played

Developer

Oh, that's weird. None of us experienced this while testing it. The whole game package was just 15MB, so I can't imagine it being the resources being too heavy.  Was there any specific point when it happened?

Submitted(+1)

Perfect fit for the theme; good gameplay loop!

Developer

Thank you very much!

Fun game! Is it a work around to just always bet and if you're wrong, just bet again?

Developer

Hi Mik!

We originally wanted there to be a limited amount of bets per round, but I didn't have time to implement it 😓

Honestly a really fun game!

Developer

Glad you liked it!

Nice game! The dog is a bit annoying because it keeps restarting its bark, but nonetheless fun game. I can see some resemblance to a game BuckshotRoulette, was it inspiration?

Developer

Yes, Buckshot Roulette was defo a big inspiration for our game design!

Nice job! Some post processing to the camera would have done wonders for the atmosphere.

Developer

Thank you! 100% agree, although Ive never worked on post-processing before. It'll be on my to-do list for my next jam ✅

The game was fun! I really liked the dog model

Developer

Glad you enjoyed it! The glowing eyes on the dog was kind of a last-minute decision, and we ended up loving it 😁

Cool! Great vibe.

Developer

Thank you!
