The capsule art drew me in because I’m a sucker for goblins. The art is cute, though you have some sprite atlas padding issues for the main character, and music and sound are solid. First night got stumped figuring out how to do anything, thought the game was broken, I made a green potion, the leftmost bottle is green, what else am I supposed to do but click mix? After hitting Skip just to see what happened I realized it actually goes right to left… No big deal, play through the second night and it’s fine, maybe I did a third, then the star potions start showing up and I seemingly match them perfectly and can’t turn them in? Meanwhile during the day I’m cramped in a super zoomed in world having to press e to pick up things I would never not want to pick up (where’s the risk come in?). I really like the idea of color matching and like building out my ability to do so, but I felt like I was fighting an uphill battle against the controls and the UI the whole time. Maybe there’s something that should be obvious I missed. It’s really hard to squeeze in proper tutorials and stuff in a jam in time, and it seems like there’s a pretty complete loop here, which is definitely something to be proud of!
funny game
I loved the artstyle! The alternating gameplay loop kept me playing long enough, too.
Very cute stardew valley styled! The art is very edible hihi I enjoyed
Very cool game, i love the little goblin poking his nose out
I liked it, the idea is very good and it is well executed, maybe a guide of what colors you have to put together to get each color would have been good, but for the rest it is very good.
thanks for the feedback! that has been our most commonly encountered issue, i think if we had the opportunity to do it again, we would include a recipe book or something to help with the colors. Im glad you liked it!
Once you get the hang of it, this has a super fun and addictive gameplay loop. It is difficult sometimes to figure out what ingredients will make what potion, but I still enjoyed my time playing. Really cute visuals as well. Great work!
In my unbiased opinion, goated game
I hope everyone enjoys!
