How does the game fit the theme?
The game is a deck builder action-based game. You either quit the game with the money you got playing or you risk it all trying to survive another round.
I didn't have much time to work on it since i basically started on friday. Lots of mechanics are missing, like money, buying cards, ohter enemy cards, as well as sounds and arts for stuff like the background.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
The code is mine but 99% of the arts are either creative commons, free or i bought through itch.io

Really cool idea for a game! needs a bit of polish but can be awesome with a bit more work :)
Cool concept and nice animations. Lovee the Magic Card back :)
Thanks! I went all in in the animation department. I might have got some inspiration in Magic and Yugioh for the cards ;)
The slimes are too strong for slimes, and my cards don't do anything, it seems like not a bad idea though.
Yeah, the ideia was introducing more enemies as the game goes, but i didn't have enough time (started working on it by friday).
But your cads actually do something! The shield is bugged, it actually does nothing but the rest does! It just isn't so much straightforward. If you pay attention, every time you use a card that buffs your damage (ice gem, fire gem and strength potion), the slimes die faster! I tried adding a bit of feedback when you attack with tose effects but it didn't turn out that good so i removed it. Thanks for the feedback though! Maybe i'll work on it after the jam, i really liked the idea and see some potential in it.
