Love it! awesome work with the terrain destruction too!
thanks! That was definitely the cause of most problems, had to write my own physics engine (with the help of similar examples).
So I have to confess that I have never played Worms, so I don't have a standard for comparison. But I really enjoyed blowing up the opposing teams' ants (and sometimes my own.) Two issues for me: dead ants aren't removed from the turn rotation, so the game gets stuck when it tries to cycle to a dead ant; and the screen size was pretty large--I had to max out my browser window, and I think I would have preferred a smaller default resolution with a fullscreen button.
Pretty fun game overall!
thanks! The logic for keeping track of alive ants and whose turn it was next got really complex and I think there was a race condition in there too.
Love me some classic worms. Nicely done!
thanks for playing and glad you enjoyed it
Great work. Worms is one of my all time favorites.
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it.
Nice work! I love these types of games. Favorite part is the shooting and the ai, both worked out well! I can see where this could expand!
This is really fun! I did run into a bug (pun not intended) where the game got stuck on the turn of an ant that just died however.
Thanks for playing and glad you enjoyed it! Yeah, I think there was a race condition in there with the signals occurring in the wrong order (turn changed before the weapon killed the ant)
Great starting point, would definitely commit friendly fire again!
