So adorable. A little challenging, but just the right amount to not be frustrating. The sfx were really nice. I loved it, well done

What a short cute game! Simple but adorable art style and I had a lot of fun. I actually like that you can (somewhat) cheat getting the treat by intercepting it right in front of the owner - makes it easier for when I don't feel like risking it 😌.

I think that exploit is balanced out by having to reach the end of the level, so maybe that could become a bonus path instead (like biscuit gets to send its owner for risk management courses if you hit all bonus squares lol)

Ooh, that's a great perspective! I really like that idea, providing a path forward while also rewarding players who take on the additional challenge.

Thanks for playing, and I'm glad you had fun :)

Such a cute and charming game! Great job of including a no-word tutorial. Really solid game design. The music was very pleasant. Awesome job!

I loved that you could make the dog bark. The art, music, and sound all work together extremely well. And I really appreciated the solid platforming controls. One of my favorite games I've played so far. Great job!

Cute game with lovely art! On level 2 (with shapes) I wanted to be a bad doggy not listening to the owner so the owner went crazy and started throwing 3 cookies at the same time XD

Developer(+1)

Interesting, that's a new one! Thanks for playing and for noticing that, I'll have to check it out post-jam (or maybe expand upon that as an idea, haha)

Submitted(+1)

To be precise, I just jumped on random platforms not matching the orders and the guy went throwing 2 cookies to the first plaftorm and one almost immediatly to third one so I had to reload the game because it was impossible to complete the level :)

this is such cute and adorable game, i loved the art style and the color palate you used, the game is super fun to play :D 10/10

(you can somtimes cheeese the throwing one if yoy stand next to purple guy )

Thanks for the comment, and glad you liked it! Someone else noticed that design flaw and I completely missed it haha, will tweak things a bit post-jam.

obsessed. loved it. great level building. simple concept. lovely music. I'll be back to try and beat it.

WOW love the art! This gave me a few chuckles, especially the enthusiastic  disposition of the dog owner xD  I enjoyed the level design of this so much. Great use of intuition, player mechanics, and all the obstacles. I felt like I was mastering the game which is a great player experience to be able to pull off  when designing a game. Awesome job! Keep up the great work 👍👍

Nice, thanks for playing, and the thoughtful comment! I don't have a lot of experience with platformer level design (usually I make endless minigames), but I decided to try it out. Intimidating at first, and almost gave up a few times actually haha. Very glad you enjoyed it :)

This is a simple platform game where a character is fetching biscuits to his pet dog, Biscuit, and it is executed PERFECTLY! What I love most about the game is the cozy and chill atmosphere. There's no jumpscares, no plot twists (Not if there's even a plot in this game at all), no AI-generated slop, no extra or bloated features, nothing, just simple platforming about a pet dog risking jumps for a biscuit being thrown by his owner that's more than enough to put a smile on your face. Oh, and the music. It gives off a nostalgic vibe to it that almost makes me want to shed a tear. 5/5 stars. One of the best (And possibly the best simplest) game jam games I ever played. Period. 😁👍👌🙌

Developer

Wow, thanks so much! That's super nice, I appreciate the kind words.

I'm glad you liked the music too, as it's probably the most fun part for me when making games. The simple track at the end was a last minute addition, but I'm glad I found the time to work on it :D

THIS GAME IS AMAZING!!!! The best I've played so far. The gameplay felt challenging but fair, the art and audio were amazing (i'm a sucker for 8-bit stuff) and the theme wouldn't be present if not this horrendous pet owner; He wastes food and puts his pet into risk situation, like "Here, jump in this hole filled with aggressive dogs that will eat you for a treat" >:(. But nonetheless I really enjoyed it

Developer

Thanks a lot! There's something I find really sweet about pixel art + retro audio, glad you enjoyed it too. And yeah, poor Biscuit could definitely use a change up in the walk route (and maybe a new pet parent).

Super cute and fun game, I barked like crazy haha,!! But I think I exploaded my dog with all those biscuits feeding :o

Really liked the game it was super good balanced, from easy to hard! Well done!

Small and very intuitive with a solid gameplay! No need ui or other to understand the gameplay, what a great game! Play mine if you don't mind

You did an excellent job on this game! You have a lot of variety, good sound effects and the layout is really good. The parts where i had to catch the treat in the squares, i never could make those spots but still got credit, idk if that was intentional. Good luck in the game jam! This is shameless of me, but there is a dog in my game LOL! : )

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing! The squares in the air were meant to hint at the trajectory of the treat, so as long as you catch it in the air at some point the pet parent is pleased. I could definitely make that more clear though, so I appreciate the feedback!

The Visuals are great and good music

I really enjoyed the game, the music is awesome and it feels very good especially I m playing it in a rain so it makes it more delightful. I smile all the time during playing this game.

Awesome!

Cozy game vibe is on point, from the concept to the music. Tutorial section felt a little long.

Developer

Nice, I was definitely going for cozy so I'm glad it made it's way through! Great feedback, will make some tweaks to the tutorial part post-jam.
