Cool game, I really like the dark mood and the fact that thelight turns off when you shoot makes it even better! Too bad, the melee attack didn't seem to work even when I downloaded the game. Anyway, it was fun to play! Good job!
Nice entry ! Good gameplay maybe lacks a bit of juice or something to spice up the gameloop ! But I know it's not easy in the time period of a jam !
GG !
Nice game, really hard to play on the trackpad
obviously, you were inspired by the godot engine) I liked that the game is getting noticeably more difficult with each round. I lost in the third round..
Well, actually, it's sticky, really good time killer :)
Really cool atmosphere! The gameplay could've been a bit more juicy but this can definitely be expanded upon to a great game! Also GODOT engine is <3
Really cool concept, the atmosphere hooked me right away. The glowing eyes/wings of the enemies against the pitch dark background were such a striking visual choice, and the sound design ties it all together. I also loved the health-as-ammo mechanic, it fits the theme nicely and creates a natural tension.
That said, I think the risk element could shine even more with a few tweaks. Right now the constant darkness can sometimes make the experience feel more restrictive than tense, since you lose sight of the enemies and feedback on hits/melee. Having light dim gradually instead of cutting out entirely (or having some passive illumination) might balance the atmosphere with playability. Similarly, clearer visual/auditory cues for melee cooldowns and hits would really punch up the combat feedback.
Still, this was a genuinely fun loop, and I caught myself replaying just to see how far I could get. The core idea is strong and the art direction sells it hard. I’d love to see you push it further with more weapon variety or upgrade paths in the future. Great job!
The graphics are great. I found the overwhelming darkness paired with random obstacles annoying though. I would like it more if it was not dark constantly especially because the enemies look good.
The controls felt nice too, but i didnt ever really feel at risk when shooting and using my health as ammo? It was unclear how high the risk actually was for me.
I really like the vibe of the game, lights and shadows are great! I had a few difficulties because I only have a pad, but I had fun anyway :)
