Really cool idea! in fullscreen the environment and music are really immersive

I really liked this! I was wondering what the points were for, if there was a goal I was trying to hit until I found the Select Dice option to make my dice bigger and to customize which combination of element dice I was rolling! I really enjoyed the idea of spending the points I earned towards my dice!

Fun concept.

I found that the game needed a game-over screen because it was unclear at first why my score kept getting reset. Also I found it hard to tell if one of my dice was showing a 1, maybe a shader that surrounded it with flames would make it clear.

The 3d dice rolling felt good.

Fun dice game! Not sure how you unlick the other dice from the menu, but I found myself rerolling over and over to try and beat my score.

As I play Dungeons & Dragons, I found it fun to do it this way. It's a nice concept, and I like getting to the next die.

I saw on your profile that it was your first time in 3D. I think I'm going to try that next time. Thanks for the inspiration!

I only tried the web version. Unfortunately, it looked very broken and I also couldn’t play in full screen.

Developer(+1)

Huh, weird, another person also couldn't use the fullscreen and it simply worked on a refresh. The download version is what I recommend anyways though, as it simply runs smoother.

Thanks for checking it anyways :)

Love rolling the dice in this one! I could not get the reroll button to work however. Altogether really good submission to the gamejam!

Developer(+1)

Thanks ^^

You have to click on a die to be able to reroll it.

This was well done! A bit confusing to understand (I still don't fully get the burn option) but I had a lot of fun with it!

The animations and mechanics feel very satisfying to play, well done!

Developer(+1)

Yeee, if I return to it I'll definitely try to explain the mechanics better. The burns save the left value and adds it to the same value on the next 5 rolls, but diminishes by 20% each time.

Extremely glad you had fun regardless though :)))

This game is pretty good for the time frame we were given, I could defiantly see this expanded upon into a full release.

Developer

Thanks, I first wanna make the idle game I made a bit ago into a full release, maybe I'll return to this some day though :)

Really enjoyed this. Captured the theme quite well with pushing your luck.

After rolling a 1 all my buttons stopped working.

This game could also work on a table top with multiple people. We had a game when I was growing up, called Pass the Pigs I think, that had very similar push you luck mechanics.

Well done!

Developer (1 edit)

Hm, that's an annoying bug, gotta see if I can track it down in time.

Ye, this probably could work with multiple people, though tracking all the abilities might get stressfull.

Thanks for the compliments and I'm glad you enjoyed it ^^

Edit: Uploaded a new version that fixed the bug. Again, the old version are still up for transparency.

Sadly the webgl version didn't really scale well. But I do like dice games so well done otherwise!

Developer

Huh, do you have a screenshot/description? It works fine for me.

Did you hit the fullscreen button in the bottom right?

Thanks either way ^^

Submitted(+1)

Earlier when I played the fullscreen button didn't do anything for me even when I refreshed. Now when I tried yet again it worked fine. No idea why it didn't work earlier. Gotta add that I like how the dice roll and its nice to follow them.

Developer

Huh, very weird, hope that it stays a rare error.
Thanks again, I think I spent a good chunk of the first few days fine tuning the physics until it felt good :)

Really fun game! I encountered a bug where I couldn’t press any buttons after rolling, but restarting the game fixed it.

Very interesting and fun to play, as a balatro fan i can say: good work! (˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶)

Submitted(+2)

game was really fun and i liked the music! unfortunately  there are some bugs that happen when you spam accept result and cash out that have now put me on over 20 million despite having only D4s XD

Developer(+1)

Oh damn, ye that is a glaring oversight, I uploaded a fix for that in form of the 1.2 version.

For anyone curious, the 1.1 version is still up and has the described error.

Thank you for the feedback, and bug report ^^

Really fun balatro-like. I can't stop trying for bigger number thus resulting rolling the infamous 1 without rerolls left.
