Once I heard that first note... I kinda got distracted in the menu...
Got the princess though!
Nice game in the spare time you had!
I got into the negative cookies, I'm not very good haha! Nice little game, good job!
20th review LET'S GOOO! I played all of the levels, even the hidden cookie god level! In one moment I had -300 cookies and in another other, well...😎
As for the critique: the movement could benefit with some changes like adding more gravity while falling and adding a coyote jump (being able to jump for a few ms after you drop from a platform). I had some issues that while I was running I sometimes suddenly stopped? Also giving the player some hints where to jump - in the ending of level 2- would be appreciated.
Overall a nice game, congrats!
Congrats on the 1E+17 cookies :)
Also I did add coyote jump but it was probably a little too smal, and I think the movement issue happens because I use tiling and the player controller doesn't like that, because when I use gameobjects it works perfectly fine
Oh I understand. I remember having the same problem in my past project. I think I solved it with deleting box colliders from the tiles and just having one big box collider behind them and/or having a sphere collider on the player. Hope it helps :)
With a little more movement twek, the platforming mechanics will be more fun! And i do notice giving some sfx will boost the experience too. great game!
A pretty good platformer! I did run into issues with the character getting stuck sometimes. Adding more visual details, sound effects, and music would really bring it to life. Keep up the good work!
Hope you get a chance to try our game too!
Cute platformer with gambling elements, nice.
Fun and relaxing adventure. Keep up the great work!
Liked the cookie trees in the background. The movement was a bit floaty and hard to control.
it was fun, but I think it needed to be more challenging for my taste. Betting on guessing the card was cool, but I had really bad luck and ended up at -9000 HAHAHA.
I got -112. XD
though for some reason for me, I saw the ui (return to menu, retry...) as to small... maybe it was C screen variations.
But overall, great work, devs!
That was interesting. Was able to go negative on the cookies. Not sure if that was meant to be like that or not. It sucks when your schedule doesn't allow you to get everything into a game. I too thought the mechanic of the pickups as currency was a good idea.
Yup bcs just like IRL you can go in DEBT!!!
Cute platformer with some interesting ideas. Keep it up!
Love the mechanic of the pickups being used as currency.
fun game, nice art style.
fire gameplay loop that rhymes with grug spent most of my time on the gambling screen which rhymes with grug
I played this great game called grug, in which i suck, with cool visuals and a nice mug,and they call it biscuit cuz it rhymes with grug
I got -106 I think...?? :D Regardless, really fun game, nice work
SOOOOO MANY COOKIES. Fun game : )
