How does the game fit the theme?
You’re on a quest for the perfect dunk, a high-stakes gamble between achieving biscuit bliss or ending in a soggy mess and a ruined brew. Enough to ruin anyone's day.

Beautifully presented, very appealing to look at and listen to. Great job. Everything from the font choice to the screen layout to the dunking effects is really thoughtfully done. The adherence to the theme is five stars as well, I could feel the risk to my biscuits.

The game itself feels a bit repetitive though. I played for a few "days" in game but lost interest before I could complete a week. The Integrity bar just seemed to flicker and I couldn't see it going down in any way. I wasn't sure if this was by design or if I misunderstood. I expected the integrity bar to be like a golf swing gauge where if I released it too soon it would fly off left (too firm), too late fly off right (too soggy) but just right it would go straight down the fairway (perfect). You only seemed to see where the bar was after you released it though so I didn't feel like I was using any skill or judgement in timing my release of the SPACE bar.

For a solo dev effort though this is very impressive. Congratulations on your submission and best of luck in the jam!

Its a great concept! Love the ui work, it truly is great. It felt great mastering the dunking mechanic, but i do wish it had some variety between the different cups, it felt a little too long after you find the dominant strategy of counting to 2 mississippi, i believe going for a full week with the same cookie is a little much, as i did want to change it after a day or so. Other than that its a great game!! Congrats on submitting!

This is genuinely one of my favourites of the whole jam. It is so holistic in its tone and atmosphere. All of the little bits of text do so much to not only define the tone but build a world that exists beyond the dunking. I was sort of surprised by how much narrative I felt, even with the super minimal style, it really feels like the whole thing has a real sense of place. I may be reading into things, idk. I really enjoyed the visuals, super clean in just the right places, really tickles my brain for some reason. The dunking mechanics showed a lot of restraint; it is exactly as it should be (I would have messed this idea up so bad hahah). I did find the pulsing of the integrity bar made it a little too easy to judge the progression, but I did pick an easy cookie, so that's probably my bad. I also found it ran a bit too long without some kind of change. I get that the time limit is rough, but I think even just fewer drinks in a day would have meant I'd try all the cookies (but as it stands, that would take a pretty long time). I actually think this could be a really good vessel for a narrative game. I don't exactly know how that would work, but I can see an unpacking-style family narrative game where they discuss important and unimportant details of their day over dunking cookies. Really great entry, I hope more people give this one a go

A kind soul recommended me your game! Somehow I couldn't stop until i reach the end, very cozy I enjoyed it. I wish I was this good at achieving biscuit bliss in real life😥

So nice concept and visuals! I really like the cozy vibe and minimal style, It's so pretty. Also, the vapor particles are a very nice detail.

I find a bug in the integrity bar, increase a lot the size and get out of the screen when you drop the cookie without make that the bar goes down, because is not restarting the scale after the animation, but is a funny issue btw.

haha yes, I had to sacrifice fixing that bug. I've had it take up the screen on a couple of tests (eek!). :) Thanks for playing.

Nice cozy game, the sounds area amazing. interesting way of interpreting the theme.
I didn't quite understand how the game "ended," or if there was a way to return to the cookie menu in the game itself. The intensity feedback is good, but I didn't understand what determined whether I had a good cup or if I had failed.

Yeah, scope creep got me! :) Lesson learned. It's just about getting to the end of the week (Fri) with the highest morale score, but I definitely didn't make it clear, and it really needed a cup success UI of some description - it's basically based on successful dunks but balancing was all over the place haha.. Thank you for playing!

Alas, a game I shall enjoy in my upcoming mornings with my brew &  biscuits. A game which speaks deeper to my soul than any other I have wandered by. Yes, such a concept really does symbolize the days we live. Will it be a slam dunk or a soggy mess? The writing spoke to my soul haha.

The game had me hooked for a while, trying to figure out what length of time was required for the perfect dip. Simple, but still captivating. The only thing I wished for was more clarity on what was required to have a "successful cup", as I got a couple PERFECT scores but still seemed to fail it. Apart from that, fun game and thanks for having shared it! Loved the satirical writing, as well!

If you get the chance, please feel free to review our game and provide any feedback. Thanks! :)

Very basic gameplay with good music, visuals and small touchs. Love the vibe of this game.

playing this game is what Sisyphus must've felt rolling the boulder up a hill. I enjoyed the small comments above each coffee level. I didn't finish it though as it felt there was no end in sight.  I also liked the throbbing dunk meter.
