Really fun to destroy the city, loved how the buildings react.
Nice take on theme. Absolute cinema destruction. βπ½π€
Nice theme interpretation! I liked the dramatic camera effects, too. I would love if the city had a random layout in every run. That would make strategising more dynamic.
GG
the game is pretty fun all good music visuals and smouth camera nice work
Pretty Epic! I wish the gameplay had a bit more depth in any way, cuz I think the base you've built up is quite cool. Still fun though!
I enjoyed the camera work, the visuals and the music. It could be more game-like by having a bigger city, so you can choose different interesting spots, and being able to have a few "nukes" before resetting the world.
Glad you enjoyed it, I might put in a bit of extra work after the Jam to make this into more of a game like a few people have been saying. Some great ideas from everyone. Also looking forward to playing Captain Ink βΊοΈ
Highest I scored was 19k...
The music was kinda supportive for the destructive scenario...
And the slow mo cam addition was a cool effect...
Overall it was fun...
Nice score! Hopefully people don't find the music repetitive at all.
Wasn't expecting it to go full cinematic like that—super cool!
Thank you, glad you enjoyed it! π
Yo, I was just about to comment about Crash Mode from the Burnout series too. Right now I think it's more an experiment than a proper game, but it's a lot of fun, I love to watch some slow mo destruction. But I missed an "overview" mode where I could properly see the city after the attack, it's resetting automatically too fast.
With more levels, some bonus objectives and win/fail states, it can be a very cool game!
An overview camera is a really good idea actually, that's something I'll probably add. I originally wanted to have a full timeline you could scrub but I couldn't quite figure that all out in time.
I like the camera movement and the slow-mo to see how the buildings collapse xD. Perhaps you can expand it by giving it different destroy mode like summon meteors, laser beams and maybe having some NPCs running around and reacting to the event. Nice SFX and great job!
Ah yeah haha, I actually wanted to add little people. Not sure if you noticed but I had a static person sitting in the city. He's a bit hard to spot.
I like the 3d physics and the slow motion reminds me of Burnout Takedown (which makes me feel old and nostalgic), but maybe I miss kind of... Explosions? or like, targets? I don't know, I'd like to have more stuff to destroy because it felt good!
Yeah, I wanted to add vehicles and a lot more objects but I only had 2 days of the full jam. I think I'm going to expand on this idea once the jam is over though. Thank you for playing!
