How does the game fit the theme?
The central theme of the game is producing a large number of cookies. (as a literal theme interpretation) On a more figurative level, risky strategies are required to progress, and the upgrades available become inherently riskier as the game progresses.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
-The background, pentacle and cookie artwork
-The soundtrack and sound effects

managed to beat the game. the first time i played i had no idea what i was doing, as i felt a bit rushed between rounds.
for some reason i felt like i was on a time limit while selecting my perks even though i wasnt. i tried again, clicking each perk and reading them, and it made much more sense.
my biggest issue is that the font is very difficult to read. a more concise font would help wonders.
a unique take on the cookie clicker genre, nice work.
I’m not sure if it’s a bug, but I got stuck at the upgrade selection part. Hope you can update it soon so I can try again and leave proper feedback
Sorry about that, have got it fixed. Try using the arrow keys to select perks now, should work! Loved ur game btw
Had a similar issue as another user where I couldn't progress in the web player when trying to select an upgrade. Would love to get further and try it out!
Sorry about that, there it text supposed to appear which tells you to use your arrow keys but it is nearly unreadable for some reason, will try and get that fixed. You can try it now though!
Cool concept! I liked the power curve being dynamic and forming around my playstyle, it gave the game some character and variety over the original Cookie Clicker.
As an idea, it’s really great the combination of clicker and roguelike could lead to something very unique.
That said, I have to admit I couldn’t play much. The text was quite hard to read, and when I tried choosing one of the first 3 upgrades, nothing seemed to happen. I even tried dragging and dropping, but I couldn’t figure out what I was supposed to do, and there was nothing explaining it. I thought it might be a bug, so I retried a few times, but the same problem happened again.
Maybe if you can clarify how it’s supposed to work, I can give it another try in my next attempt.

Loved your game btw!
The idea of a roguelike cookie clicker is very nice, and I was surprised by the last level. Good submission, and congrats on finishing the game on time
Cute premise! Missed the description that said select perks using arrow keys so I got stuck for a while. Perhaps since I've already clicked to read there can be a button to continue. Good job!
I liked the art, But you should add more tutorials for your game , and also the text was a little bet hard to read
I was confused at first, and like others said the text was hard to read. But it's a cute game
My apologies. My monitor is reasonably large and as such I could not test on many devices. Thankfully there is still time to fix bugs so thanks for pointing this out!
Hey! Lovely gameplay loop, but text is not too readable and took me a while to understand what arrow keys do, could use a confirm button under each upgrade.
Good job on the game!
A cute little game. The text was a bit hard to read, but overall it was still fun.
