How does the game fit the theme?
There are multiple paths to the end gate, the riskier paths have better rewards.

Nice game! For visuals, i'd recommend a darker background for underground and a transition between ground and underground like you did with the transition at sky. Also i feel like there should be something to reward the risky path in a way unrisky path doesn't. Good luck on your next project!

This is so cute! The sound effects are really nice, and the visuals too. Great work!

Congrats on your first ever game. If I could make one suggestion, having the viewport being a little more zoomed out would have been nice. But this is a good platformer and the graphics are really endearing. You did a fantastic job especially for a first game. Keep creating!

I'm a platformer lover so you already got me there! I like the "the higher the risk, the better the reward" idea also.  For a first game, Alien Miner is so fun that it's not even worth detailing the little bugs.

Very cool especially for a first game! The mechanics were explained very well throughout the game. The idea of having the option to take more risky paths is something that I did as well if you want to check it out!

Nice first game! I enjoy the level. I also used some of kenney's work on my submission.

Funny little game idea. I had some smaller issues with the movement especially using directions (left+right) and jump at same time - sometimes the direction was not taken into account. Maybe just something I need more practice.

Also I got stuck once as I lost different coins which did not respawn as these were not banked so I had not enough to finish the game.

But overall for a first game I think it is a good idea and implementation. Congratz for your first game.

lol all i could see was gudetama. And not having a full gudetama themed game made me sad. But the sounds were good. rage-baitey because stuff disappeared after collecting but not respawned if i failed it, that really sucked tbh and the rage occured. banking was fine but since it never respawned i barely used it. kinda wished it was a checkpoint instead then just have longer levels.
gudetama though was cute sprite.

Really cute game. I wish the camera was a little further out so I could see more of the screen, and sometimes I felt my jump was a little too short for the platforms (might have been a skill issue though), but loved the concept and the sound effects :)

The movement feels really good and I like how you crafted the level with things like the enemy at the start to teach the player. Some of the text was running off-screen or just outside where my player could see so I think that use some adjustment but it was still really well done. Congrats on your first game!

Great concept and tie-in to the theme, especially for a first game! Only thing I missed was seeing more of the level or a fullscreen option so I could plan my path a little more :)
