How does the game fit the theme?
smaller cookies are easier to get and have lower points, but riskier grabs such as bigger cookies are worth more. Also the finale objective is to rush for the one and only perfect cookie.

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
the tile set from the map came from a free asset

Good game i had fun... Make the map bigger

I liked this one. I didn't see the "home zone" at the top until after a couple of tries so that could've just been a little clearer. Otherwise great entry, kept me engaged for a couple plays!

I'm a sucker for ants so I knew I had to give this one a shot. This is surprisingly challenging, I'd love to hear which skills you'd suggest one should priorotize early on. Struggeling to last beyond about the third wave.

Only encountered one bug - during one of my rounds the game asked me to collect 1000000 worth of cookies, which I think was propably not intended.

it was intended, at the last(5th round) you are supposed to go for the perfect cookie to win the game, there is only one and it usually spawns on the bottom left of the map. Thanks for playing the game, I don’t believe that you got that far, I couldn’t do it and thought that the game was way too hard.

I like the concept alot. some music would have added to it. was fun to try.

Really nice game! Great job on it. I've not yet seen this concept in other games I've played in this jam, which is refreshing! If you don't mind, could you check out my game submission as well? It would really help me out and I would love to hear what you think! Thanks!

Really fun concept, I liked how the risk rewards come in this game.
If I could suggest an improvement, maybe a little tutorial inside the game cause I was lost at first!
Overall, great job — impressive work for such a short time!

I also joined the Brackeys Jam with my team, we made a roguelike about delivering a cookie to the king. If you feel like trying it out, go check it out. I’d love to hear your thoughts too!

Great game, it adapts to the theme of the jam perfectly. The only thing I would say is that there seems to be a bug: if you lose in the second round and restart, the first round is normal, but the second is harder than it was on the first try. In my case, it was 100 points in the first round and 120 in the second. I lost, and then it was 100 in the first round and 140 in the second. After a few tries, it got to 200 in the second round

Developer

thanks for the feedback, I will try to find why the bug happens

Developer

I found the bug, it's basically that when you restart a scene in godot the singlton(global variables) don't restart, so it doesn't reset the rounds.
