How does the game fit the theme?
I don't think I managed to implement the theme 100%, but I tried to show the risk in that sometimes you have to be dishonest and take risks for the sake of what you love or just for a roof over your head. Of course it turned out a bit rough, but that was the idea in my head.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
I didn't use a lot of sprites. The portraits and person sprite I took from free assets, and the icons too. The code was made from scratch.

I got so immersed, I was panicking cause of the cat surgery and the critical medicine, but I'm not sure why I got bribes, since I did the job 100% correctly for everyone. Regardless, a fantastic game!!
Very effective in recreating the vibe of Papers, Please. One challenge I have with this genre of game is pacing; there is a fair amount of waiting in between moments of action or decision making. I would love to see a novel solution to that challenge.

I think the game could use some refinements to match the theme better. Overall though, the music, gameplay, and animations are really nice and well put together . Great job
