Here is my gameplay video if needed:
---Hm... I don't know. This felt short, but at the same time also long. The story felt... I don't know. Something you have to read again and again to understand. Like, it's definitely not that complicated, but somehow also felt complicated. Overall, it was okay, but perhaps for a short visual novel, a system like games from khywae could interest the dev as it's longer, only one ending—if I remember correctly—but definitely could be changed into more than one ending.
I appreciate you checking out the game and providing your feedback! There's actually 3 endings in my game, but since I only used 2 images in the entire game (including the opening) it might not have been as apparent.
Will definitely take a look like games from khywae! Thank you again.
There is another ending???
Hello! Welcome to Feedback Quest 8! My name's Hythrain, a co-host and one of the streamers for this event! This feedback is being written live as I stream your game! If you're interested in seeing my live reaction, let me know and I can send you a link to the VOD once it's posted to YouTube!
So my normal approach for any game in these events is simple: I get the game, make sure it's not a virus, then play it with as little information on how to play as possible. This way, I can judge how intuitively someone can figure out the game. Only if it's obvious that I need to read more will I do so. I note this so you can get a sense where some of these feedback comes from. In addition, I want to note that feedback and rating are different; don't use this feedback to gauge what I'll rate, nor should you view my rating as entirely indicative of my feedback.
This... was so interesting to play. It was also so short that I was able to play it a second time. For what's primarily a conversation between two people, it's very well written and does a great job of conveying the idea of whatever the mysterious demi is. Also, it has an amazing choice for background music. A
ny chance you could link me to it? I saw what it was called in the credits, but when I searched it I found a completely different song.Nevermind, I found it within minutes of ending my stream an- oh. Oh no. That's... oh...Given the very short nature of this, there's no really any room for feedback. At best, I'd probably just like to see a couple more images. Watch the demi move around as he talks, maybe even close his eye or just blink. But that's really it. There's nothing else that needs to be done.
That said, I did catch one thing. There is a very egregious writing error towards the end of the route where you learn about the demi. Instead of "Thank you for spending your last moments on Earth with me" it's written as "Thank you for send our last moments on earth with me."
Thank you for such a lovely game.
Thank you so much for the detailed feedback! I appreciate it so much and I’m glad you enjoyed playing!
I really enjoyed this! It was a great little bite-size VN with a fun amount of intrigue. Good stuff!
I played it here on stream around 1:27
Omg this is so coool! Thank you so much for playing my game on stream!
Quite enjoyable and fun. The style is consistent and immersive. Art and music work well together. There’s just one screen, but this fact doesn’t bother you while playing, and instead, it helps you concentrate on the story.
Thank you so, so much! Appreciate the support and glad you could feel the vibe I was going for
