[LFP] Sound Designer/Audio Engineer With Very Unique Synth Sample Workflow Available to Collab

Hey, I’m new to putting myself back out there for collaboration after years of being too tied up with work, but I’m eager to build my reel and connect with the right projects. I'm really eager to just have some fun experimenting with sound design.

I have over 20 years of experience in the entertainment industry as an audio engineer and over 35+ years as a musician. I’ve done indie stuff over the years and smaller projects, my strongest area is live synth performance and sound design and creating unique sounds in real time but building and doing sound design in a DAW is something I'm great in. I just like to emphasize that I have a pretty cool workflow that I think is unique to me. I work comfortably in Ableton and Pro Tools (and can adapt quickly to any DAW), and I’m also experienced with ADR and Foley and do some pretty unique projects with location sound.

I’ll share some links to my work (Substack, Instagram for my techno project, and YouTube), though I’d encourage you not to limit my range to any one piece because I’m versatile and fast to adapt.

I’d love to score, compose or do sound design with something in the sci-fi, dark, or horror space, but I’m open to anything where creativity and sound design are valued. I’ve got a powerful synth and sound design setup, can work virtually, and I’m excited to contribute to projects that need immersive, original sound.

I suggest my Substack to dig a little into some of my process https://substack.com/@sunruum

Snake Charm School is one of my main music projects where I focus on live synths, samplers, drum machines, and other hardware to create immersive sound design. The project leans toward industrial dance music, but I’ve got multiple projects across different genres. As a multi-instrumentalist, I have a wide range of influences and experiment with different instruments and incorporate whatever is needed into my work, keeping things dynamic and experimental.

My Youtube has a mix of some of my sound design as well but I'm working on building a solid reel that lives in one place soon, and eventually.

Sunruum is my label that  I created as a place to share all of my projects regardless of the different genres and styles of music. My Substack has tons of music as I've been building a small community there and if you need some more links or want me to try out something unique for your project, feel free to reach out.

If you’re interested in collaborating, feel free to reach out.
