How does the game fit the theme?
You are risking your gladiator's life in deadly arenas just to earn the ultimate biscuit - freedom!
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
Almost all audio and visual assets (see credits for further information). Thanks to everyone who provides free assets :)

What a fantastic and fun little game. The style, the gameplay and the sounds are all way too well made for a 7-day jam. It reminds me of a gravity-free version of Peggle, which is a great compliment. Cool little game, good job!
That was alot of fun, great work making so many levels and enemy types!
I recommend a hit counter with like S rank - C depending on how many times they had to hit the ball in a level.
I may have seen a bug where if an enemy runs over the ball even when it's not moving it destroys them.
Great work, very creative entry!

That was super fun to play! Sound desing is peak and the idea too mix tennis and gladiator fights is genious! Great job!
I love this. The feeling when you catch the ball mid flight is amazing. Simple and fun game!
Super Fun! Really unique game play! Would be cool if when you hit it mid flight path it caused it to turn into a fire ball hit to do double damage! Great work <3 *this game was live reviewed here: twitch.tv/gratefulllyivory (will post vod after stream)
Happy to be of service :) Thanks for making a fantastic game really unique game play would definalty do well as a mobile app with cosmetics for recuring revenue and you could even implement a pvp system fairly simply if you made different kinds of rackets and such but limit which side of the map the players can be on.
Great little game! Love the ball physics, reminds me of an old Jonathan Blo prototype where you could see into the future in billiards. Having to plan your shots or else it gets stuck next to the enemies is a great touch!
What a curious concept! I had a lot of fun playing with the ball's trajectories. Congratulations on the jam entry!
Nice one but it would be fun if the ball keeps bouncing and is threat to player too. Loved the art.
The game was quite good and enjoyable, though I feel like the mouse controls were very unintuitive, where I'd expect that I'm aiming where my mouse is, I actually aim by using my mouse, it confused me for the first level, also the angle control was a bit too imprecise.
Fun game with nice mechanic and progression! Only the collision boxes felt slightly weird sometimes (for example little blue bugs killed in a distance I think should be still acceptable) but that’s just a thing to balance :)
The game is really fun, easy to pick up, and does a great job of keeping you engaged!
I think the gameplay could be improved further. The ball constantly stopping slows down the pace maybe that was intentional, but if the ball kept moving and hitting it triggered a slow-motion effect, the flow could feel much faster and more dynamic. Also, the ball could even deal damage to the player if they fail to time their position correctly, adding another layer of challenge.
Of course, these might all be intentional design choices, but I think such changes could create a much faster-paced gameplay.
Even in its current form though, it’s a unique and enjoyable game. Congrats!
