How does the game fit the theme?
Take a big step, dare to take a risk to truly choose for yourself. Within a storyline in which we took biscuit literally.

An interesting experience, I wasn't expecting something like this at this jam, it's definitely unique. I had some problems with the browser controls, but in the end I managed to complete the whole experience. Congratulations on your work!
Thanks for your reply. Happy to hear you liked the experience.
This looks like a great idea and a heartfelt way to adopt the theme of the jam!
Playing on firefox, movement was bugged to make me clip backwards through the map.
Thanks for your reply!
And your feedback is very welcome!
The controls feel a bit weird on PC, but I assume that's because you optimised it for mobile. A really interesting game with nice story and choice elements. Made me question my life a few times actually. 😅 Good Job! 🤗
Hi Zimo8,
Thank you for giving our game a chance and for your kind words! Indeed, we had a mobile-first experience in mind, you were right about that. The controls follow from that.
It’s very nice to hear that you did reconsider what you want out of your life, because that was exactly our intention with this entry.
Anyway, can’t wait to try your game!
Random voices from everyone around was a really nice touch. A suggestion i have is having the option to switch 1st person or viewing the mc from a little side to see his front and where we are heading. i had fun, it was a guick interesting ride. Good luck on your next project!
thanks for your feedback, love your suggestion of switching to first person.
I definitely had lot of bugs while playing on keyboard and mouse.
The first time, the people outside blocked me from moving and I would have lot of spiralling and random movement.
After refresh I did a bit more but again started spinning and being out of control after talking to the oldman.
I really like the look and voice acting (the voice was unclear sometimes maybe some issue with Unity audio, because it would be cleaner other times).
The game is very unique looking and it stands out for sure, I could not get much further due to bugs.
Congrats on releasing this (with your fulltime job as you have mentioned in other comments)
Hi t3snake,
Thank you so much for giving our game a chance and some tries - definitely appreciated!
I’m sorry to hear you came across bugs multiple times. I’d want to get those bugs out, though that would be quite difficult I think because I myself (the programmer) didn’t come across the bugs you described. And I did countless runs, believe me.
Yeah the audio is what it is within the time constraint we were able to squeeze out. Indeed we had to make this game in between other activities such as putting bread on the table.
I definitely appreciate you like the art style, that would be my jam-colleague’s merit!
Can’t wait to try your game :-)
I played on Safari on a macbook if that helps any.
thanks for your feedback! I did indeed meet with some almost exploding puppets, which were not supposed to have this effect. Something to refine and learn from. 🙏
Would be great if there was a way to type in a response to alot of these questions instead of going down the prescribed path ;) Anyways nice modeling work! <3 *this game was live reviewed here: twitch.tv/gratefulllyivory (will post vod after stream)
Hi James, thank you for playing and reviewing!
P.S.: Yeah, would be cool to make a more open world game. But in a week? I had to work overtime at my day job during the game jam, and we still managed to squeeze out this nice piece of work.
Really love the character models i do think the easier improvement would just having wasd controls instead of point and click just because point and click movement does have some strangeness due to necessitating a check for if colling then stop movement else continue moving forward.
thanks for your reply. I agree it would be a nice addition for the player to type there own reply. Perhaps when we build on upon this first version that can become reality.
This was cute, found it a bit difficult to control with keyboard and mouse - love the character creator!
Thank you, Ham!
Hilarious game , good job , i loved the intro alot.
Thank you, Jakarta! Maturnuwun and terima kasih ;-) Appreciate that you played our game and left a nice review!
Unfortunately my game did not work... That's too bad because it looks really interesting
Hi Tim, thank you for your post! Yeah, we’re still working on fixing bugs, including the one at the start. Please return tomorrow after the 48 hour bugfixing period is over.
Hi Tim, we’ve just released the version of our entry with important bug fixes. You’re very welcome to try our interesting entry and leaving nice feedback on: 1. whether we succeeded in our intention with this entry, 2. how we can improve as creatives, and 3. what was good about the game.
After I clicked the initial screen there was just darkness. Does not work?
Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately something went wrong during export. We are working on that.
