I love it. I got the suspect on first try. The characters look cute and how they move to the music beat. I think the part that could use some improvement is the UI.
The way we switch between villagers is slow (having to click them again to close the panel menu in able to click the others), and we have to click house to view inside. Doing these in short amount of time can be stressing.
I suggest making it simple. Once you clicked the villager, the right side panels will show the monologue and house contents. No need "for click to show" because you already had a hide state like "..." and woods blocking the house.
Wow I love a murder mystery and this was wonderful! My monitors are 2560x1440 so I had to change my resolution to 1920x1080 in order to play or the start button would be cropped out of the screen. Other than that, very smooth gameplay!
Really enjoyed it! I loved the frantic feeling of needing to get as much info as quickly as possible.
nice graphic, the ui wont open new tab unless the last tab closed which is kinda slow(im on html version, with f12), and please i need more clue!111111 i only play for like 2 times, and i guessed all wrong. is the impostor actually fixed ingame or is it randomized every play? and who is that, if the game impostor is fixed ingame.
Hey bro!!! Thanks for playing my game! You see, the page says that if the game doesn't work properly in the browser, it's recommended to download the game. On the other hand, the game isn't random; it has an ending. It might be a little difficult to guess, so I'll give you a hint instead of the solution. On the first day, pay close attention to the rich guy.
This was amazing, the art, story and gameplay. i felt the pressure from the timer, and really felt called out by choosing the beggar haha. the only thing was a black bar at the bottom blocking the text, but that may be my fault from playing on browser.. gg
Really fun game, I love the theme interpretation and the creativity. You did awesome!!! :D
Amazing game!! Really well made and the concept is super fun, was surprised by how polished and finished it was haha
the game was a lot of fun!!! i loved the art and the pixels objects you used for this, and it was nice to rush to do everything in a day. i do wish the select to imprison page had names though, was so rushed to read everything i forgot who was who AHAHA.
I honestly thought the game itself was laggy, but nope — turns out it was just my browser. Switched to Chrome and suddenly everything ran way smoother, web games aren't meant for Brave or at least Unity games aren't.
Anyways, the rich guy has to go, complaining about taxes lol. The beggar is also on thin ice.
The concept and game seem pretty fun.
I had the problem though that the UI elements weren't scaling properly cutting off the text and some of the panels.
As a result I failed to find the culprit and sent an innocent man to the slaughter. I blame the UI, not my deductive skills ... oh well, riots and uprisings for my kingdom it is.
I was playing it in full screen.
I had a similar problem in my first jam. I normally use Godot, and for my game it was because of how I had set up the scaling for UI elements for full screen. The setting was buried in the project settings separate to the parameters for the UI elements themselves.
I'm not sure if the downloaded version would make much difference. Will try again later with the downloaded version.
