That was super fun! The sonar mechanic is really interesting, cool risk and reward system if I want to risk it trying to go fast and blind. The boss fight was simple but well executed too. Good job on your game! :D

Great concept! Also love the 8-bit atmosphere and most importantly the puns :D

thank you very much! :D

Good little game and I thought the concept was really good!

thank you very much :)

That was a very interesting concept and I loved the sound and visuals!

The only issue was that once I got to the insolent farmer who had filled the world with garlic, he stepped on top of me and we both got stuck in endless purgatory in the middle of the house..? :D

Will replay after finished rating everyone else to see what was supposed to happen there.

thank you very much ☺️

Yes, that’s a Bug I guess. If the Farmer touches you before you hit him with the chandelier, you lose. I think I forgot to Show the lose screen for this scenario 😅

That makes sense!
I went to straight for his neck to punish him for filling the entire map with garlic.
Might've not had the time to notice the chandelier if there was a lose screen :D

I can understand your thought 😂👍🏻

I thought this game had a ton of charm and I loved the "gameboy" on the title to fit the theme.

Some suggestions would be to add some more clarity to the player if they are doing the right thing or not. I know I was supposed to bite the animals as a bat but I kept trying to bite them and I seemingly noticed nothing. I saw them appearing while I was "blind" but I couldn't tell if it was intentional or a bug.

thank you for your Feedback :) it is Indeed a Gameboy Game. After the Jam I will Upload the Rom file so it can be played on a real Gameboy or an Emulator :)

Yes it is Not a Bug. If you bite an Animal it gets red eyes and appears constantly on the screen to show, that you already bite this Animal (it becomes also a Vampire) :) but maybe I should add some text to show the player, that he has successfully biten some Animal.

I think all you need is a sound effect to let them know it's bitten. I kept trying to rebite the first animal because I didn't realize i already did. I noticed the red eyes on the second animal i bit but i bet if there was just a little more feedback on the bite it would feel great.
