Description
I tried mixing ambient and LoFi, and tried focusing as much as I can on texture.
The game would be story-heavy "Walking simulator" (something like Miside) with alot of mind-bending spaces.
The game would be about a girl who experienced Transitional Sleep - she finds herself in the places from her past, and while travelling further into the mind-warping reality she meets other people from other times, and learns how this world works, and what is the meaning behind ever-present numbers...
C0gnit0hazards - This track would play while meeting another person. They would explain some rules of this world and help her to go forward.
Deeper, Further - This track would play deeper into the game, where things stopped making any sense - there would be some action sequences, hence the contrast between the ambient drones and Amen Breaks.
Operator No 5 - This Track would play in the last location, when main character meets the Operator - one of the Entities that govern the world. They explain some things, that leaves more questions than anwsers and helps her wake up.
I based the Soundtrack on the world from one of the stories I've written.
Sountrack was made in FLStudio.
Message from the artist
Thank you for listening! And thanks for my friends and family for support!
Theme

How does it fit the theme?
While analyzing the picture I noticed that the place is not really making "logical" sense - hence my mind wandered into Liminal Spaces territory, and tried to capture this essence in the album.

Nice diverse, fun soundtrack with some very cool crunchy textures! Not to mention interesting harmony and dynamic production style! Good work!
Better late than never to reply, Thank you!
It has a great soundtrack, it's quite diverse and there are interesting moves in the music.
Thank You, I’m glad You liked it!
This was good! im glad I got to watch it on stream! The drums jumping in is very fun. Great work!
Glad You enjoyed it, thanks for the comment!
Awesome submission, I liked Deeper, Further the most!
Thank You, glad You liked it!
This is amazing! I love the different textures and the really beautiful soundscapes! I especially enjoyed Deeper, Further with its crunchy and almost dirty sound!!!
Thank You, I tried my best to make the sound and textures interesting!
Loved how the main themes flowed through each track, very musical and entrancing soundtrack. My mind left and went somewhere else entirely, I enjoyed it a lot!
Thanks, glad You enjoyed it!
It seems like you're relatively new to music composing, yeah? Genuinely, I think you might have a certain talent that many don't have and that's quite apparent in the sound choices. You have both the bravery to pick outlandish sounds and the sense to make them work. I'm not going to glaze like this is the craziest submission ever, but at the same time I'm not going to ignore the huge potential that you have. Please please PLEASE never stop making music!!
Woah, You’ve made me a bit emotional, that might be the best comment I’ve got on my music and it made my day. Thank You!
I’ve been making music on and off for quite some time but I’d say I started treating it more serious since like April?
I’m really glad You enjoyed it! And once again, thank You for the kind words, they mean alot.
The storytelling here goes crazy, there's a lot of really cool textures and motifs you're using to great effect here and they all come together to make a space that feels convincing. C0gnit0hazards feels cool and full of confidence in a world of mystery (zamn that twang at 1:20 is so good), Deeper, Further feels like that confidence being hit with cold water, and Operator No 5 sounds just as mysterious and grand as one would expect from meeting the god of a world. Really great stuff!
You basically got the feeling I wanted to create exactly right, I’m super happy! Glad You enjoyed it, and thank You for the comment!
I'm a sound designer type person myself, so I like when there's submissions that put emphasis on the texture. I liked the various pads and other noises you put. The mixing can be improved on some parts like the volume, the guitar is a bit too loud on the first track for example. This was overall short but prettynice.
Glad You enjoyed it! Making weird textures is pretty fun and I gotta do it more often lol. Thanks for the comment!
I love the liminal-ness of this submission. the synth that plays just right for the other instruments to breathe is really cool. nice jobbb ! :>
Thank You, I’m glad you enjoyed it!
What's not logical about enormous single planks of wood without any gaps for a different plank!?
Joking aside, the music was pretty interesting and good!
I liked the moving synths in the background making it feel liminal. Sometimes I thought the drums were a little too distracting like in deeper, further when the same drum plays quickly like 6 times in a row.
I mean, live wires over sea, the bridge is very wave’y strong shadows… it looked very liminal to me
Thanks for the Feedback! Deeper Further was the first time I’ve played with drum samples so I might’ve had a bit too much fun lol.
Thanks for the comment!
Yeah I was playing off of that. It does look strange and the planks of wood are super unrealistically long.
We need more liminal soundtracks. Good work!
Thank You!
