I enjoyed it! First round I lost, second time I got the biscuits - I liked the win screen how it just gave me the cookies and that was it... what good are all the cookies with everyone else at the table gone. Very deep game.

How does the game fit the theme?
In the game you risk everything against 3 other bot players to hopefully win a biscuit at the end
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
The only things I didn't make were the wood table texture and the ps1 style shader
How many people worked on the game?1

Interesting idea. Would be a lot more clear if I could see the lives and cards of the other players. Seeing my own lives would be helpful as well. Liked the theming a lot, cards so sharp that it shatters you into a bajillion pieces.
Would be really great to have some kind of feedback on how many lives I have left, and maybe a number above the opponents' heads to see what their hand adds up to! I also found the noise of cards being dealt carried on even after players had perished! So 4 hands were dealt to 2 players.
Otherwise, a great game that I would happily play for longer! Clean animations, good sound design <3
Thank you for playing and pointing out where it could be improved I appreciate it. Honestly I just make the ai invisible if it loses all 3 of its lives haha I didn't stop any of the dealing logic etc as I kind of just focused on having a playable game but yeah if I decide to go back and improve on the game I'll definitely be taking the advice on board.
That 3D perspective for blackjack is a really cool innovation. It adds a huge amount of immersion, actually feels like I’m sitting at a real poker table, anxiously waiting for my opponent’s hand. However, the text on the cards is pretty small, and it’s not always clear if you’ve won, so maybe adding some visual or audio cues to indicate the results would be better.
Took a few tries but I finally got biscuits :D
Fun take on Blackjack. I liked the horror themeing and the sound of the cards hitting the table was on point!
Nice simple and fun game, I really liked that the sounds kind of matched the visual style!
I liked how snappy the game feels, such as when cards are dealt. The UI could use some work, though. It's quite hard to tell how much health the player/npcs have and who wins each round, which are both very important to the enjoyment of this game I think.
Here's a vod of me playing your game. Thanks for sharing!

Nice seeing another BlackJack around! The concept is very good and the cards really appear shard! Had to laugh when the enemies were hit and the sound played lol!
Quick suggestions:
- Have a total number over the enemies hand as well.
- After the round ends destroy the enemies cards too
Overall a great idea! Keep it up!
Simple and suprisingly fun for what it is. i'd recommend adding a health indicator or feedback when you get hit
Great job on the animations and the bots. I also really like the idea of the razor sharp cards cutting into the wood table.
Really interesting take I can see you had fun with this one. The atmosphere/mechanics give it a unique feel, and I like how you pulled it together within the jam constraints. Feels like you learned a lot building it. What part of the process did you enjoy the most, and what would you want to expand if you kept working on it
I really liked this card drawing game! Dark atmosphere fits game so much. Also I liked how your bots are working by making decisions. Very fun game overall!
Simple but enjoyable. You managed to add bots with some degree of decision-making within one week by yourself, great work!
I like the inscription style to it. The animation at the beginning where you walk up to the table set a great job of setting the tone. I think making the game feel juicier would help a lot with the feel of it. There wasn't very much impact when you won or lost. This could be with sound effects, camera shake, other vfx or something. Maybe even pausing a little longer on the loss screen or waiting for user input to go past it. Other than that it is a solid implementation of blackjack. Great job!
I really like the game, main menu is so cool and sound effect for cards, and also animation fo them falling like that and also hitting player is so nice, just one problem i had is that everyone lost but i still heard them playing, and then it said at the end that i lost, so maybe I'm missing something? idk, but really nice game, everyithing fits together really good imo, and also walking to the table at the start is really nice. To me it really looks like you had fun making this with all those little things you added to make it more enjoyable, like exploding effect too.
Good luck in game jam, and good job, i really like the game
