How does the game fit the theme?
This game progressively gets more difficult over time so players must make risky bets to grow their cash faster and faster. They must also be careful because an unexpected bill when they are low on cash might mean game over.

They must work around the game mechanics in order to turn a profit from the houses they have purchased and grow their net worth.

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
The pixel art for the ground tiles (the water, the grass, the asphalt roads) aren't mine. The character pixel arts are drawn by me. The basic sound effects are made by me, the song and some of the other, more complicated, sound effects are from freesound.org (All CC0 licensed)

This was such a fun and chaotic twist on both roguelikes and the housing market! I love how the Housing Market Index adds real tension, you’re constantly deciding whether to risk it all for a bargain or hold out for a bigger profit.

I really like game but it is very complex and also you could make it a full fleged game and I will love to play it and also I would love to have a feedback

Nice game! It took a while for me to grasp the mechanics, but I got the hang of it.  I appreciate the gameplay and I see it as a tribute to the real estate people,  buying/selling and dealing with life expenses, this really hits the risk to the get the biscuit theme. The controls are smooth and responsive. There is a good replay value to this one, a small primer or a NPC to explain the caveats of the game would be nice. Overall I enjoyed playing this one!  Congratulations! Keep it up!

I was a bit confused on what was going on, but it seems pretty cool.

I'm gonna be completely honest here, the game is boring, you need to add a lot of things. However, I like the visuals and sound effects!
