Love me some old scool style game OST. This always will create some nostaliga. Paired with the more experimental nature of your OST this is just awesome. Reminds me very much of some game from Kira LLC.
Can't say much else then I really liked every ounce of wierd and wonderfull atmosphere you've created. Bravo!
Only critique I might give is the length. While I really liked the songs and sounds nearly 40min of music is maybe a bit to much :'D
Hypnotic, dreamy, and immersive. I'm personally a fan of this kind of music, it borrows a lot of interesting qualities from different subcultures as well as music sub genres that makes it worth it to listen to even outside of the jam's context. Unironically I still pull up your music from last year to listen to from time to time as well. The "indie" and experimental sides of the music are also I think the right qualities for it to become an underground hit if the right game exists as a vessel to contain the music under the right context.
I also sense that a lot of thoughts were put into crafting the narrative for Bloody Red Moon this times around, the pacing of the entire album as a whole definitely differs from Self-Acceptance that it has more breathing room for narrative building. If I remember correctly last year a judge commented that the music might be too repetitive, and I thought back then isn't it exactly the point for this kind of music to be repetitive, so having more breathing room and musical structure definitely is a great response to that "issue" under the jam's scrutiny.

Not gonna have anything wise to say, but: I sat through the whole ost which is *not* something I'd usually do given its length, but this ost had me hooked. Even when the composition went somewhere that wasn't my usual vibe I was too curious to stop; storytelling-wise this is one of the most intriguing submissions I've heard so far. Bloody Red Moon took me by surprise (well, the whole thing did, but that track was something else), and my favorite was probably The Door Between You and Me. All that and ALSO to have the video to go along with the music? Wild stuff, great job :)

the experimental quality of this ost hooked me immediately and safe to say i was not disappointed!!! might be the craziest near half an hour i've experienced in this jam so far, especially with bloody red moon ritual when the synths came in. the crazy variety in genres throughout the ost is also another thing, and despite those differences they still manage to tell the story you guys were trying to convey :)

What a journey holy, it's clear that between all of the ideas and genres put into the music, story and the MOVIE(???) an insane amount of love was poured into this. Heartsting of Fate is probably my favorite here, the rest of the track built up to it well and it felt like a great climax to the story. I had to sit back for a few minutes just to take it all in after it ended, I'm not too good with literary analysis so I probably missed a lot of the story but it felt satisfying. Great work!

The album itself is also really well made, I like the drums and the payday-ish style music, but I can still hear how you composed it! I wish you win or at least get the top spot in this because this is really well made all in 9 days!
This is definitely the most interesting submission I’ve listened to! The atmosphere you make with the sound choices put me in like a trance haha. And the accompanying movie was really cool too! I will say on “Let My Sorrow Said It All”, the harsher synths don’t fit with the more emotional vocals. I think a softer synth or even just a high pass filter would work better there. Great job on crafting a project like this!
Absolutely love the horror/love theme you guys went with, the vibe of the whole project really helps to elevate the feeling of the eeriness that the story is going for. Good work overall!

You music is so extremely unique it's impossible for me to comprehend how you're able to have so many unique ideas and your compositions are like a paw to the face to me trying to learn "classical" orchestral music. Absolutely insane work again.
PS: The whole OST is so damn experimental it's just an amazing journey.
That soundtrack and visuals on the video were quite something on this one wow !
There is a hugely tense mood throughout with the style of the tracks and the narration being very cryptic, sort of reminded of the sort of dread I felt when playing games like Milk Inside A Bag Of Milk (very hard to pull off in this manner).
The tracks are very varied in styles, however they keep that sort of mood throughout and it was very endearing to sit through the whole experience (especially Bloody Red Moon Ritual).
Speaking of moon, the visuals of the moon in various colors with text displayed over it reminded of the end of chapter screens from The Silver Case and The 25th Ward, for some reason the moon has that aura of mysteriousness that is very evocative in art pieces like yours.
I'm not sure I grasped the true essence of the story in details (and I'm pretty glad I didn't since I prefer having questions than definite answers in this context), however I can quote The Silver Case by saying "You can understand even without understanding".
Overall extremely unique submission, I'm glad I could sit through it so congrats for creating such a memorable piece !

I'm not sure I would label the album as "Classical" on Soundcloud. I think "Experimental" might fit it better because wow a lot of the songs felt very experimental!
They were so strange, many of them in a way that made me curious to keep listening but also in a "What caused them to make it like this" way.
Specifically, Bloody Red Moon Ritual. That song was absolutely crazy! Ritual makes sense with the more tribal like percussion, but the way the song is structured makes me think of LSD dream simulator because of how just insane it is at times! Like, especially at the end where more instruments come in it is so alien almost in a cool way!
Whew, for the effort alone, it's very impressive! I really do like the fact that it takes you on a journey. That and the variation is pretty rad, I'm all about the electric sound for sure!
I made the mistake of coming into this project expecting a few songs and judging their qualia and writing a few notes. What I got instead was one of the more avant-garde art pieces ive seen in a hot second.
I experienced this entry from the accompanying movie. (Which I recommend putting up on a 2nd monitor and watching passively. It moves at the pace of the music, which is not very fast)
This entire project was a little difficult to follow. There were creative decisions made here that dont make much sense on a surface level, but when seeing the visuals makes a really interesting whole. This is a lot less of a Game OST and more of a choose your adventure game built into audio that reads much like someone attempting to interpret the plot of a dark souls game without a guide.
No stone is left unturned here. This Set of songs goes from slow melodies to haunting vocals, house/world hybrid beats, synth plucks, straight up dance music, and then back to soft strings. Layers of rhythms in syncopated messes still manage to keep you anchored onto something even for the extended run time.
I'm really impressed with how much effort went into this whole project. Significantly longer than most and with accompanying media.
I am glad to say I went all the way through it. Certainly an experience.
A big congratulations to the team behind this for leaving an impression I can't forget any time soon.
