Description
The whole Soundtrack for the game is done in FL Studio.
Each track represents a different time of the night when the game is taking place.
The Story of the game revolves around a friend group of 4. One of them has to move away out of town, so they decide to spend one last night together and visit the old radio station on top of the hill. However things there are a bit different inside the station...
I took Inspiration from games like Silent Hill, Signalis, Oxenfree... to create this Soundtrack.
Message from the artist
Was really fun doing this Jam, learned a lot of things and just had blast time.
Theme

How does it fit the theme?
The Game is played in a single Summer night, so do the songs reflect that.

This is super sick! I'm a big survival horror fan and I love what you did here!
Oceanwaves 10pm I get "just another night out with the gang" vibes. Good way to start the night off.
Ghost of the Night is very unsettling, for me it feels like the part of the night that things are starting to turn south. This would be a great song for exploration or puzzle solving.
Radio Tower 1am I get Resident Evil save room vibes and I love it! Theres an unsettling calmness that is very comforting about this one.
Trainwaltz 8am i get end game song where the main character just barely survived the worst night they have ever gone through and are now reflecting back on what just happened.
You did an awesome job, I really enjoyed this!
The voices in 1am are great for the atmosphere!
I also like the sad waltz you have at 8am. I don't quite understand what the noises in that song are though.
Is supposed to be the Sound of an inside train ^^, probably a bit too muffled for the background.
Amazing work, feels very cohesive and engaging. The last two tracks are particularly interesting, melancholic and mysterious. I think the voice is a great addition to Radio Tower 1am. Also you completely nailed the storytelling and vibe you were going for.
It's a beautiful piece of work, and there's a sense of continuity in all the tracks. But my favorite here is Ghosts of the Night - TrinityCactus. I love dark ambient paintings.
Ghosts of the Night: This is a very nice ambient horror loop. I like the subtle melodic movement in the background through the noise and sound “fog”
Oceanwaves 10pm: The 2 main instruments you used sound like twinkling stars and the deep pull of ocean currents. These along with the waves sound effects create a beautiful image of a night walk on the beach. The string instrument adds some tension into the mix which helps connect it to the other tracks in your OST as well.
Radio Tower 1am: The radio static does a great job of conveying the scene without overshadowing the haunting piano melody. The main ostinato outlining a G minor 9 feels spooky and melancholic and sets a mood that would work really well in this story!
Trainwaltz 8am: Now that it’s morning, this track sounds somber, but moves away from spooky, which makes a lot of sense. The subtle boxcar sounds are well placed and really give a sense of location.
Overall: I appreciate how well you were able to set the scene in each location. In addition to the effective subtle use of sound effects and ambient sounds, the harmonic choices you use also convey a lot of information about the emotions associated with each location. Very nicely done. Thank you for sharing!
i can really hear the silent hill inspiration here especially for ghost of the night! also love the calm but eerie atmosphere throughout the ost! awesome work :D
I love the calming and slightly haunting vibe of Oceanwaves 10pm! Your blending of elements was great! Good work, this would be a fun game to play!
Your music has a lot of personality, I would love to play this game :)
You should host these somewhere, clicking download 100 times isn't fun :)
yeah that's true, while half of them are just the proof screenshots. it def. is a bit much ^^ and I should look to make them playable on the browser directly next time ^^
