How does the game fit the theme?
Because every choice is a gamble: accept demonic pacts for instant power in exchange for crippling curses. Pure risk for potential reward.

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
I only used a tileset for the walls, and the music; everything else I made myself over these six days

I like the concept; it is effective, simple, and very expandable. Personally, I think it would be interesting to see the effects of stacking or being permanent.

And yes, if a mean-looking green spider is chasing me down, I would definitely nuke them xD

Overall I like the art and theme of the game and audio too, But many times player is staying idle only on one position and also shooting only works when you are in idle.... And also I would love to have a feedback on my game as well..

Thanks a lot for your comment! Too bad the real “art” of this game —its programming— doesn’t really show. I put together a card system that adds new cost/benefit cards and applies them to attacks, health, and controls for both the player and enemies. There’s also a spawn system based on time, individual spawners, or all at once, all configurable by amount, spawn weight, and difficulty in the inspector. And finally, a weapon system already set up with animations. Because of all that, I didn’t have much time left to add more content. That’s what happens when you build everything from scratch on your own… I’ll drop by and try your game when I get a moment!
