Good job! It would've matched the theme better if there was a way to exit the basement to cash out your collected stuff. And if you die you'd lose all your collected stuff in the basement. How does the game fit the theme?
The main gameplay of my game is to get ingredients for biscuit cookies in the basement and then sell them to the monster under the bed. Thus, the player must take risks in order to get the opportunity to make cookies.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
Before the jam, the character control and health system were done. I also used a video tutorial on YouTube to make a shader for the HP bar and used music from "Not Jam Music Pack". Links to them are indicated in the game description.
