Beautiful design!!
Interesting concept, I loved the racing aspect of trying to outrun the other mouse. Mechanically the game needs some more work as the movement felt very floaty and hard to control. The visuals were really cute and I like the theme with the mice. Overall well done!
Charmingly animated character and fast paced game play. I didn't really get what the shooting part did as it didn't seem to do anything except slow me down while using it. After a while, I got stuck in some state where I wouldn't fall anymore but would keep running through the air.
The animations are a bit buggy it seems (especially when transitioning), maybe it's on my side though
Otherwise the art is simply adorable, good job !
The movement feels a bit floaty, and I noticed the speed increasing on slopes (I’m guessing that wasn’t intentional). The controls could also use a better layout. That’s pretty much the main criticism I have.
On the positive side, the art, story, and idea are all great — I really had fun with it. I think the game just needed a bit more playtesting to iron things out.
(Also, when exiting to the main menu and starting again, the game froze on the story panel — just a small bug I ran into.)
Cool project, reminds me a bit of Speedrunners. The physics were a bit stiff, so you might want to look into making them flow a bit better, but I liked it overall. Also, it might be a good idea to let the player see a bit more in front of them so they have more time to react.
The game is fine, but the character controller feels a bit stiff.
Sonic meets Redwall? Something like that. If I had the skills to do so, its the type of game I'd love to make. Sadly there isn't quite enough of it to slate my hunger.
Controls felt floaty at first, but became intuitive quite quickly.
The AI getting stuck in pits makes this a bit of a one-mouse race; and I wished the double jump was juuust a bit more lenient. Found myself stuck at the bottom more than once - and climbing your way out kills a lot of the momentum you wanna have in this kind of thing.
Character designs are super cute and were my personal highlight.
Also, great thumbnail art!
