This is AWESOME!!

I love your style of composition and all the sound design; the way you experiment with it is truly incredible!
The amount of automation in the screenshots makes me feel kinda bad about my projects 😅

Thank you for your submission; I truly enjoyed it :D

really glad you enjoyed it!  Love a good automation curve me 🧐

More connection to theme! I always want to see how entries connect to the theme so having more description would be appreciated.

I find it interesting that you made the 4 songs into 1 track on SoundCloud instead of 4 different tracks. Was there a particular reason for that?

Developer

The tracks are also individually available on my Soundcloud, I thought it most convenient for the listener to have the body of work in one place whilst traversing submissions.

I did the production around a pretty heavy work week, so I endeavoured to quickly analyse the emotional response and musical themes conjured by the prompt and get busy “putting pen to paper”.

I would have liked to explore the more creative writing element of the Jam and contextualise the pieces somewhat - I’m disappointed I didn’t find time to use the full 20 minutes and inject more narrative. - I hope that the pieces excite the listeners’ imaginations in absence of my own in written text.

Really appreciate the feedback - I’m ‘itching’ to participate in more and hone the process :)

Just really cool vibe and sound, nothing more I can say 😁

Good stuff!

The sound design on this is so cool! I like how each track sounds pretty unique, while still evoking similar emotions and being a cohesive work.

Developer

Yeah I’m glad it feels cohesive, I tried to limit myself with the tools I used somewhat and stick to a vibe. Thanks for listening :)

The atmosphere in the opening is really strong. Love the way you brought both fear and awe out while keeping things from feeling stale. The sound design is really well done throughout the whole OST. Nice Job!

Developer

Thanks a lot! :)

Incredible. Just, wow. I want to play this game. For the rest of the soundtrack to fill an entire game, the intro song makes we want more songs to be expanded out from it. I love it all really, especially 1, 3, & 4.

Developer(+1)

yeah I’m still pretty captivated by some of the themes, they get stuck in my head throughout the day and make me want to keep going with it.

I may release a part 2 at some point on soundcloud / YouTube.

Your feedback is really appreciated, I haven’t released anything before so seeing people resonate with the production is very moving. :)
