Description
Tools used : Ableton Live 11 + Alesis Recital keyboard
Inspirations : Avishai Cohen + Tomohito Nishiura

As said in the itch.io game's page, the tracks are meant to be listened as you would encounter them in a gameplay sequence :

I - Shady Business → You finally spotted a pickpocket, now it's time they trust you so you fool them better...
II - Ma'am, he's got your purse ! : Time to strike and alert people, they're being stolen !
III - The saviour nobody thanked : Job's done, duty's over, time to head home alone, again.

Message from the artist
As the Pocketfiller, it's your job to find pickpockets and fight them, bringing the people back their bags and wallets.

Enjoy a warm soundtrack as you pursue those thieves on a summer night !

Theme

One Summer Night

How does it fit the theme?
Those tracks fit the "One Summer Night" theme by having warm sounds (such as the piano or the accordion), having swingy drums but not punchy or aggressive and mostly, having those long and evocative chords that fit the idea of wandering carelessly

If I ever cross paths with The Pocketfiller again, I'll make sure to buy him a drink for his service to our humble society.

Ma'am, he got your purse! reminded me a lot of the dangerous music in Mario RPG I think is what I am remembering. The bassline in particular reminded me of it a lot.

Each track had a very strong separate personality.  I have a soft spot for the piano jazz as it's closer to most of what I make.  Most pleasant set of tunes and I am glad I gave them a listen!

Gave you an itch follow, if you like the thing(s) on my page(s), consider doing the same.

Also placed all 3 tracks in my network of SC playlist(s) and liked and reposted each one.

Cheers!

unique take on the summer theme! smoky and jazzy and a little bittersweet and lonely at the end, great fit for a vigilante concept; pretty dope stuff : )

A short but sweet submission, this really feels like it could be a good game honestly

I liked the contrast in accordion usage in the first and third track, during the first one, it was lively, upbeat and center stage, but in the third one it took a backseat, letting the piano shine, which gave the track a real feeling of loneliness

Interesting Choro influence at the start of the second track, definitely innovative considering what I've heard so far. It's also a banger!

Good job, keep composing!

Thank you for this kind message <3
Yeah, the 2nd track was the one I started this jam with and I soon realized the choro influence (or maybe the beginning of Smash by Avishai Cohen, I definitely recommend giving it a listen :))

Fun concept for a game. Thought I was going to get a cover of caravan for a second there! Really captured the detective vigilante vibes of the game. Nice tracks! If you like Jazz i did some big band scoring for my soundtrack!
