Damn y'all just have to make the most visually appeasing game every year at game jam haha! Loved the ending too! Well done guys!
That ramp up was CRAZY! Great art and this was a really satisfying clicker game. Would love to see even more Juice and stuff like particle effects if you guys continue w/ this but this is insanely polished for 48 hrs. Well done!!
Really well put together and of course great art. I also appreciate playing a jam clicker game that doesn't take hours to beat, every level lasts the perfect amount of time and the escalation is really funny. My main problem is that max upgrading damage didn't insta kill the basic enemies, especialy with the spade which felt so good to click, but the crit chance did make up for that
Otherwise just needs some calming jazz music and it would be 10/10
THIS WAS DONE IN JUST TWO DAYS?! HOLY HELL! Honestly I'm floored at how polished and professional this looks! I LOVE the art for the game! And audio is nice too. If you ever update the game, I'd love to see some background music added to it!
Thank you so much! We would’ve loved to get to background music! Definitely a great addition to consider! Thanks again!
I really really loved this game. Might be my favourite from the jam. From the art to the flavour to the narrative this was jsut so cool and fun. As someone who also made a clicker for the jam I have a lot I can learn from your game!
Dude thank you for such kind words that’s really awesome! Glad you had a great time :D
Really cool game, the narrative progression was great... good luck with the jam :)
I feel both satisfied AND horrified. The balancing feels super good, and I love the escalating scale! Simple, easy-to-follow mechanics with a UI so intuitive that my brain didn't have to thunk too hard. BADASS GAME!!!
(Slight spoiler below)
This is such an awesome comment thank you so much! These memes are so good LMAO thank you for making them that rocks!
Uhhh well then, I definitely do feel like I have committed some sort of crime here T-T. But woah! this is such a well made game! Like love the attention to detail and simple yet engaging gameplay. Nicely done.
Hopefully you feel like a monster ;) thanks for the kind words!
Really enjoyed playing this! The art is amazing and the story progression was unexpected but really effective. Also the polish is insane for a 48 hour jam! Well done!
Thank you!! Loved playing your game as well!
Really cool game, I couldn't proceed past the garden though - I refuse to hit those cute little guys: P. The art is amazing and the sound effects (though disturbing) is really cool.
Haha I think you might be the only person who played and didn't end up a monster! Good job!
Such a cool art style! Love the environments and the bugs/animals. Very addicting game play, well done!
Thank you so much!! I had a lot of fun drawing the critters in their various states xD
Had so much fun playing this, I love the progression. So cute and harmless to splatting bunnies and more in no time. Art is amazing, the sound is satisfying, and story progression is so fun well done everyone!!
Thanks Greg!!! Glad everyone is enjoying the story, we thought it might end up being a little intense for the jam xD
Wow! very polished. The sudden twist from cutting down trees to shooting down protesters was pretty funny. Awesome game, well done. 🔥
Only a monster would find that funny! O.o
(thanks for sorting it out!)
This is the first time I have played a clicker game, and I think you single highhandedly took away at least a years worth of life from my mouse, I think I might have to sort it out (0,0).
At first this game convinced me to consider a future career in pest control, surely, I am not the monster,
these goddamn pests are everywhere, then I killed a few thousand people, and most of the Earth, I think.
The art and sound effects are super satisfying to look at and year, and its extremely well polished for a 48hr project, there's some subtle QOL features (like not having the maps deal with the bottom right corner, so you don't accidentally click exit, that I really appreciate.
This has got to be the most pretty game I have played from the jam, so far.
The game nuking itself at the end was a great touch.
The sound of us all frantically playtesting before submitting was horrendous. I think we all need new mouses (mice?)! So happy you enjoyed your experience of being a total monster :)
wow this was super polished, really impressive for 48 hours!
Thank you so much! We really slept so good last night lol
Wowow this was sick(ening /as-a-compliment)! The art and audio was super clean and cute/gory - and the way things escalate was really thoughtful and evocative. Amazing job :>
Thank you so so much that's such a nice message! Glad the message came through in the end :D
Oh my word, after playing this game my garden is a mess. Bodies everywhere. I got to say, this clicker game has the most beautiful art. Very nicely done. Game mechanics is simple but they worked.
Very well done to your team.
LOL! Thank you very much!
Wow, the game is amazing! The art style is fantastic, and the gameplay is really fun. It just keeps getting more escalated. I wish I hadn't missed the button, as I was curious about what would happen if I didn't press it. Then I played it again (: good game.
Wow thank you for such a great message! Really glad it was fun enough to get the real ending :D
My hand hurts after all the frantic clicking! I knew I was in for it when I saw the animal harm content warning 😂 Great job!
Good job Sorting It Out!! My hand also hurts after all the drawing this weekend xD
INVEST in public upset... Take my money
Fun game love the art
Love that you add a Narrative ( It escalated real quick)
Well Done
yay for capitalism! Glad you enjoyed being a cog in the machine and mindlessly clicking away :D
