Great entry! The game appears complete, with everything in its proper place. There’s a flow and an expansion. The graphics create a cozy feeling. Simple controls make it easy to navigate through the game. Although at first, I didn’t immediately understand that planting works by just holding the space key.

This was really fun!  I trying to play super optimally a few times to beat the crows but I still couldn't lol.  I think the simple gameplay but with branching choices (like different plots with different payouts of growth speeds, or different defense types) would be super interesting to explore!  Nice work!

I really love the art & vibes of your game ! Impressive work !

Visuals were cosy, I liked how you approached the limited colour palette wildcard! Crows kept beating me but other than that, it was a very cosy game :)

Very engaging game loop and really lovely graphics with the large pixels and the scan lines. As you noted in the description, those crows are really hard but I would love to play more of this if you manage to get that more balanced after the jam!

I really love the visuals of this game, the graphics are really well done. I think it's quite easy to pick up too so it gets you right into the action.

I didn't see the biggest correlation to the theme but ultimately I do just like a farming game!I think a few tweaks might improve it a lot and make it a really pleasant game to spend a good bit of time on. Sound for actions would have helped a lot, and I felt that the upgrade screen tended to interrupt me - maybe this should happen more at the end of a wave or day rather than at level up. I also wasn't sure what the tools or different plants did.

I like the visuals of this, the screen shader and sprites are very cohesive. Played it a couple times and wasn't able to survive past getting the second scarecrow though.

Man, this hits a special spot! I loved the atmospheric music, and the old CRT vibes.  I was expecting to be offered a sword for some reason because I heard it was dangerous!

You should try out our submission!

We also went with a crafting vibe, and infinite as well!  We chose a route of recursive expansion
