I really like the game, I find it fun and relaxing! I like how there is no fail state and you just have to try and reach the best score you can. Lining up +8s is also super satisfying! And all the art is lovely.

BIen joué à toute l'équipe ! 😃

Thank you so much for your kind words!

Merci de toute l’équipe ! 💜

This is an incredibly cosy game! The palette and the art is very full of character and is absolutely wonderful. Watching the town expand is very satysfing and on point with the theme. Initially I thought the scoring to be slightly confusing, but still managed to get a decent score! With some more cards variety and applying some different effects and modifiers I can see it being turned into a full proper release! Great work!

Thank you very much for your kind words! I'm delighted that you like the visual style and expansion of the city. Your feedback is very helpful; we will rework the presentation to make it more intuitive from the start. We are also excited about the idea of adding more maps and new mechanics; that is exactly what we have planned. Thank you again for your support, and stay tuned for future updates!

This one radiates charm. The autumnal theme comes across beautifully, with the leafy textures, the mushroom houses, and that warm palette really sell the cosy forest vibe. The Expansion concept is neatly tied into the card-based mechanics, giving it that board game flavour while keeping things approachable.

The whimsical art direction makes the whole thing feel light-hearted and inviting, and I liked the way the camera bounces slightly adding playful movement. The UI is simple and functional, though a touch more in-game guidance would make it even smoother for new players.

Thank you very much for this detailed feedback!

We are very happy that the autumnal atmosphere and artistic direction were well received, as this was an essential part of the design.

You raise an important point regarding support for new players: we will work on additional guidance elements to make it easier to get started.

Really loved the art, music and SFX. I think the UI could use some more polish for sure but overall a great start. Maybe adding some more variety and levels in the future if you keep working on this?

Developer

I'm glad you liked the graphics, music, and special effects. You're absolutely right about the user interface; that's something we're going to rework. And the idea of adding more variety to the game has been conceptualized, with other types of cards (unique, different effects, etc.), but we had to be realistic about our ambitions for this game jam.

I'm not sure if 67 is a great score or not. I hit 52 by picking the middle card every time. Clicking the card with the biggest number does seem to be the best strategy. I suppose if you're trying to work towards some kind of setup for bigger points in the future, that might not be the case, but seeing as how you don't get to choose placement, I'm not sure how that would work. Really solid though. Love the vibes, Love the colors and music. Art is whimsical. Great job.

67 is indeed a good score, but your 52 when always playing the middle card shows that there are several ways to approach the game. You're right, clicking on the highest card gives you a short-term advantage, but it's not always the best strategy when you consider the overall score. It's precisely this delicate balance that makes the game interesting.

I manage to score around 76 with a fairly basic strategy. I'll ask my colleague how he scores: from memory, he has developed a more long-term strategy that often yields a higher score.

But you're right, we still need to work on other types of cards and features.

I'm really glad you like the atmosphere, colors, and music!

And thanks for your feedback on the graphics too. naoh8 really wanted to create something lighthearted and whimsical.

The art, animations, and game feel of this were really solid. Loved how bouncy the camera was. I wish the tutorial was in game though because by the time time I saw the rules on the page I was already almost done with the game haha

Score: 69

Thank you for your enthusiastic feedback! We’re glad that the art and camera dynamics appealed to you.

You’re absolutely right—having an in‑game tutorial would have been more convenient, especially when you’re already immersed in gameplay. This is a feature we’ll consider adding in future updates. In the meantime, feel free to let us know if you encounter any other areas that could be improved!

I’m not sure I understand how the game works beyond clicking the biggest number, but really nice art and aesthetic!

The card art is really delightful and I think there is a lot of potential in this concept. It executes well on the theme. Unfortunately I had no idea the whole time what I was doing at all. I'm not sure leaves were recorded as a resource anywhere and I couldn't tell what any of the buildings did, or why I should build one over the other. The card art kept blocking my view of the town too so I just ended up spamming cards with no real idea of what anything was doing.

It looks like a cool base for a game to have created in a week and maybe you can expand on it and make the gameplay clearer, the cards and concept are really nice and the placement also seemed interesting to me!

Fun game! Cute music.  I'm, not really sure how scoring is chosen or made, or if just clicking the highest value cards is the way to get a high score, its a bit unclear.  An explanation of why placing a card in a specific spot sets you up for possible larger scores, or if its all down to the luck of the draw and positioning of tiles doesn't impact the game outside of aesthetic.

Great Job!
