Really good game, I really liked the setting and would be interested to see more of this

really creative, and i loved the atmosphere with the music and sound effects. if you ever expand on this it would be cool to have some unique challenges etc for each level. great entry!

This was really fun!   I liked the historical setting since it was very unique, and also the tension between resource hoarding/spending and whether to build more resource buildings vs barracks.

I would actually play a full release version of this game, really well done!

I lost my first playthrough because I kept on accidentally skipping years. I was impressed with the depth of the game! Eventually understood the math required and once I started stacking lumber the rest of the battles became pretty trivial. This is a great gamejam entry. The layers of polish with the particles on the intro/outro screens were nice and I also learned something new about the world so thanks for the history lesson + fun game :)

It took me a second to get a handle on the controls, but then I found the layout of the board surprisingly charming. It reminded me of some retro computer games. I think the layer of historicity and the setting was really good. Having something specific made me more interested to see where things were going.

I do think that it would be nice to have some way of knowing what my choice in an event would do though.
