Better late than never to post this! Welcome all who joined or pass by!

It’s almost October. The true Spooky Month which will leave about 30 days to go.

I have seen a few people sign up and I am excited to see what people make! If you have any questions reach out.

Hi there! My friend and I are interested in participating in this jam but we are also looking at other different jams with similar themes. We wanted to know if we would be able to submit a game to this jam if it has already been submitted to a different jam? The work period for the other jam is also around the same time as yours, so it would be a recent game submission.

Hi there!

You can absolutely submit a game you made for another jam to here. As long as it is made within the time frame and fits the theme!

I am curious what the other jam is so I can see myself.

Thank you for your response! Sounds great. This is the link to the other jam my friend and I were interested in: /jam/lgbtq-horror-jam-2025

How strict is the "No human playable characters" rule? I have been working on something for a few hours, but it does require one human child character. Still monster focused, but one of the player characters is unequivocally human. Should I pivot or is it okay to continue down this road knowing there isn't a 'serial killer' as you put it, and it is still about the monsters mainly.
Thanks, having fun with this jam so far!

I think 1 is fine!

I am curious about the context. Hearing this question all I think of is those movies with one kid and a bunch of monster friends.
