Cute little survivors-like with merge mechanics! I appreciate the care that was put into the animations, with the weapons, bouncy character shadows, damage numbers, etc. The weapons did all feel a little similar to me though, no enemies took more than one hit to kill (besides blocking) so I didn't pay much attention to stats.
Thank you so much for noticing all the little details! I did not get to scaling the enemies yet. I hope you had a great time. Come back in the future for updates!
A very good entry in the Vampire Survivors style, I feel with the right fleshing out this game has good potential.
Just one observation that I made. I died and the game sat there counting down until the wave ended, at this point I wasn’t able to do anything. It hit escape and it ended the game.
Thank you for your post. I need to add a death screen.
This was a blast. The amount of playable characters and weapons is seriously impressive and the shop system with the ability to combine gear makes the runs feel really dynamic. The visual style is super punchy and expressive and the little bits of polish like the UI layout and hit feedback give it a great sense of game feel.
It also just plays really well. Movement and attacks feel responsive and the pacing keeps things exciting without ever feeling too chaotic. I loved discovering new characters and seeing how differently they play. The whole thing has that “just one more round” energy in the best way.
This review was very thoughtful. Thank you very much for your kind words!
Axe seems OP. Wish i could see item stats after combining them. I think when starting a new game the money in the UI doesn't reset because it said i had like 250 gold after level 1. Either way. played many rounds but I'm not gonna beat that guy who said he got to wave 16. Gameplay, Game feel, visuals, and sound are all great. Thoroughly enjoyed this one.
Thanks for playing and having a good time. Sorry about the bugs with the resets I figured that out after submissions.
Works pretty well, I got destroyed when the spear throwers appeared! xD But wanted to restart the game to be more prepared. I didn't understand waves were on a timer at first.
I had an issue with no game over screen when dying, but I could just restart the page so no big deal.
Sorry about the restarting thing. I am glad you had fun!
It's fine, it was not blocking
lots of fun but found a couple issues where if I die nothing happens and if I restart the game from the menu I keep my money from the previous round but cant buy anything from the shop
Thanks for playing the game. I figured that bug out after I turned in my submission. I needed to reset the scene after going to the title menu. Sorry about that!
Thanks for playing the game maybe i need to tune down wave 6
Pretty darn fun! I like the weapon combining mechanic, it feels very nice! I was blown away by the amount of different playable characters! I did think that the wave where archer enemies start appearing is a massive wall, because it feels really difficult to dodge their arrows, especially when there's so many! I wasn't able to get past it, but I had fun anyway! Thanks for making this game! :)
